Hard to tell. In a more realistic oriented game it could be an option (e.g. in the tv series 'The Walking Dead' are also "child zombies" who get shoot) but from a more ethic point of view it could be different. I would say it's okay but i wouldn't miss it.

I agree with your suggestions about matches, wildlife and epinephrine but not for the blood/-types. Blood is overpowered at the moment, I agree with that, but implementing different types of blood and cold/warm transfusions with different outcomes of the treatment is just way to much IMO. If you want to implement those kind of more realistic stuff then you have to go further (e.g. a player drawing blood from himself to give it to another player etc.) but it will get to complex. So maybe a bloodbag should just increase your blood for a random value between 4000 to 6000.

We raided the barracks at the NWAF so many times but never found any NVG's. So I got mine from some corpses and my 2 mates got theirs when we were searching heli crash sites (as previous speakers said you have to search carefully because often they are almost "invisible")

As far as I know you will not be able to see bandit skin and backpacks when you are wearing a ghille suit.

Just add in the filter at 'max players' a low value like 3 or 5 so it will only show you small population servers.

Maybe it was a trap and someone just waited to fire a satchel charge. I've seen situations like this a couple of times in some let's plays on youtube.

If you would just had used the time for walking to the NWAF like everybody else instead of creating this thread and reply, you would be there already...

We experienced the same bugs. 2 mates and myself were repairing different vehicles (V3S civilian, offroad pickup, motorcycle) on different servers (first we thought it depends on server whether it's saved or not) but to our regret they were never saved and always respawned broken were we found them. Because every server keeps restarting a couple of times per day, I think it's more or less a waste of time to search and repair vehicles (at least we are done with it). I just hope it will get better on 1.7.3.

A mate and myself having this kind of issue since 1.7.2.5. Feels like it happens randomly but I think it is around 1/5 times we log in. Most times just one of us is spawning near Eletro or Cherno which is very frustrating 'cause it needs a lot of time to find ourselves again... We play on different servers because we can't play at the same time every day so I can not say if these spawning issues are server related.

A Mate and myself playing a lot on DE and sometimes US server but we did not notice any differences in counting hackers/cheaters. In general we didn't experience a lot of those circumstances but if a server looks suspicious we just take another one. Personally I experienced it just 1 or 2 times when I was teleported to some kind of camp where I was killed (guess it was a UK server). So I guess it does not depend where the server is located (in my experience) and maybe we are just lucky so far.

Manual updated from 1.7.2.4 / 95417 to 1.7.2.5 / 95883 on Sunday. (A mate and myself) We've been to Elektro, Cherno, Stary Sobor and the NW airfield yesterday (also tried different server): - no experience of graphical problems like glitches, artifacts etc. (as in the previous version) - I random spawned 1 time at the coast, my mate random spawned several times around Elektro and Cherno (not as in the previous version) I use the mixed version (Arma2Free&OA retail) and my mate too (Arma2Free&OA steam version) My system: P9700/GTX260M My graphics: video memory set default, AA and vsync off If more information is needed just let me know. Edit: - The humanity started for us at around 2700 (we both have 0 murders and 0 bandit kills). After giving a blood bag to my mate my humanity raised for about 300. - no experience of lost gear so far - We do not use other programs like sixlauncher etc we just use in-game server browser

I was having kind of the same problem. I got random freezes for ~5 seconds followed by a black screen and a few seconds later the ingame sounds came back but the screen stayed black. So I had to close the game by Alt-F4 and start it again which made it more or less unplayable. I did not found a solution to completely fix this problem but at least to continue playing. I played with the launch parameters ending up with this (the "-winxp" parameter was the one that worked for I guess): -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -cpuCount=2 -maxMem2047 -world=chernarus -noPause -nosplash -skipIntro -winxp -mod=@DayZ For the graphic settings I use video memory set to default, vsync and AA off. Now the same problem occurs (rarely) but after the freeze/black screen for a few seconds I can continue playing. (not testet 1.7.2.5 yet) Hope it works for you guys too.

Hey survivors, I'm a german player (28) who is looking for mature european players to team up with or to join a small group. I played for about 2 weeks so I think I should know most of the basics and my gear is currently moderate I would say. So far it was a lot of fun but to range the woods and to loot the cities alone when nobody is watching your back keeps getting boring. Also teaming up ingame didn't work out so well as almost everyone is shooting at sight. I like tactical and supporting play with a lot of fun involved but also having no inhibitions to take care of some bandits. Unfortunately I don't got the time to play regularly but when I'm able to play I start at around 6/7PM [uTC+2] for about 2 to 5 hours. Also I got a headset with mic. Thanks for your suggestion I will have a look at this. But as I wrote I'm not only searching for german players/team but also european in general.
