I think your missing the point, I dont think i said it was amazing progress. Id rather log in having retained all my previous gear i amassed over those four and a half hours than start in the middle of nowhere than nothing.

Alright i get the changelog idea, just trying to spark up some conversation...I remember a player posting on here about finding a radio somewhere, and hearing weird broadcasts. I still have the recording he made somewhere on my HD..anything ever come of that? maybe it was just a hoax

Like the title, I havnt played DayZ since 1.5.6..Will my char still be alive/where i left him? What are the major changes that have been made? When I last played vehicles had just been re-introduced. I was Northwest somwhere, I had survived about 4 and a half hours and had some nice gear and a nice supply of food/water.

Ive been playing dayz for about 2/3 weeks now...About a week ago upgraded my GFX card to a HD6850 with no issues what so ever. Downloaded the latest update this morning and now whenever I open up my map my whole computer restarts without warning. Anyone having similair issues or know a fix?

I think this is brilliant. I like the idea of items or maybe something embedded into the game world such as maybe a road sign or a a whole road that's not visible on the map in your backpack, that would lead somewhere exciting. It doesnt have to have rare loot inside.. Imagine stumbling across an unmarked military research lab in the woods that could explain a back-story as to the zombie outbreak..

You get it when youve fallen off a ladder..(sigh)..Or been hit by a Zed etc, it kinda looks like a belt broken in half to me? With some lines coming off it. Its not the broken bone icon but not too dissimilar, Ive seen it a few times when ive been injured but never worked out what it is. I thought it indicated a fracture, rather than a broken bone?

I found an Entrenching Tool on a corpse I looted...Never actually got to get a look at it because, as I expected, My life was ended before I could crawl away. Im never approaching a random dead body unless ive killed it again..

So its been taken along with the new update. I think this is a good thing, I got a lot of love for this mod but I dont like the idea of being forced to log in twice a day to make sure im not starving to death, thats abit too Tamagotchi for me.

I only ask because 3 times in the last 5 days, ive logged out with full food/water levels and when ive logged in they're either red or flashing?
