Would be interesting if you were going to add dog food, why not add dogs? you can find a grungy puppy and take care of him, when they get big enough they can protect you from zombies and alert you to nearby people. and if they do end up biting a zed they can turn into zombie dogs.

Hello, while looking at the masks you've include in the game I thought it would be cool if eventually you could custom paint them with a paint editor like in forza. This could be applied to guns and cars as well. If you were going to include merchants later then it could be accessed through them. Your character would need to be invulnerable while in the editor but you would need to find paint cans for colors to keep with the sim feeling. Any comments or add-on's to the idea are welcome. p.s. I'm already loving the standalone and am excited to see how far it will go.

ok, so maybe as long as you have the item and paint you can access the mask/gun editor from the pregame menu? I just think it would look cool to see what crazy masks people would come up with :D but thanks for the constructive criticism.....

Aw man, I was in the Factory a little NW of Orlovets and had gotten murdered. Ok not so bad, it's happened before, so I joined a new server and was surprised to spawn where I died last and had my measly 8 zombie kills and my hatchet still. Cool, at least I don't need to look for a new hatchet. All seemed fine for several hours as I made my way NW towards the airfield and collected a nice set of gear that would've made a fun final stand of zombie slaughter. As I approach the airfield and cross the runways to access the barracks for some heavy firepower, I start getting the graphics glitch. Ok also not so bad, I can exit the server and restart the game to take care of it. Here's the fun part, when I jumped back into the server, oops, I spawn in Kamenka with no kills and no gear. Epic Fail :blush: Anyways, I know it's an Alpha and I still love this game so I will keep pushing forward and try to make it out of this apocalypse.

So this does happen. Now I know and if it happens again I'll let myself die right away so I can avoid the disappointment.

Or more like since that bandit that killed me was lag skipping around the map I thought he might be hacking so I opted to find a server with a lower ping and less shady players so I could play the game and enjoy it. I dislike cheaters and would rather not play with them, also if I was going to cheat don't you think I would try to do it when I have more than just a hatchet. Sorry but not everyone has the mental age of 12. Thanks for your input.

Word, I just dumped $1100 into new parts and am pretty happy with the results. Don't be afraid to recycle your ATX case or optical drives if compatible with the new motherboard. I saved a few hundred doing this.

Yeah, I had an Axe too. that's about the only weapon I could find, they were everywhere.

I went 4 hours last night not finding a gun, except one pistol which was floating above me in the air so I couldn't grab it. I also ended up at the NE airfield randomly with no weapons in any building there or in Krasnostav. It was still fun as hell though :D
