Until loot spawning is 'fixed'. Just find a server that has recently restarted or wait for the one you are on to do so. As for the lagg it seems to be a server issue when there are large numbers of players. Servers with like 30+ people tend to get this where 20 or so doesn't.

Well apparently we do. Perhaps if there wasn't so much shitposting and people complaining about things that the dev team have already said they are working on or planning to fix then it wouldn't be such an issue. As for Rust, have you actually played it? Its not built from scratch at all. Its basically Stranded (mod for Gmod) Standalone made in Unity. In its not even a fraction of the game DayZ is in terms of content, features, world, anything really. And don't even get me started on 'not as many bugs'. But you know what, that's okay because its alpha.

If you are so concerned with people peeking over walls and around corners why would you play 3pp. I mean, isn't that kind of the whole point of 3pp really? I don't see any discussion to be had here or why some loaded questions on a poll will make any difference.

10 minutes is way to short. A majority of combat, particularly between squads, can go on for 3 times that easily and having the bodies dissapear before a fight is over is no better than how it was before when bodies dissapeared on death. I can understand clearing up the countless spawn suicides but why not give it some constraints like any body with a weapon, backpack or container wont despawn.

I guess people who use hacks should also be allowed to keep their accounts. In fact, while we are at it, why don't we just let people pick where on the map they spawn and gear up completely unopposed so they can go camp some hill on a PvP server before getting killed and spending another 10 minutes gear grinding before getting to kill some more people. Better yet, we just let them pick the gear they spawn with and make a zombie wave survival. Like there aren't a million of them that people can go play if they don't like how DayZ works.

Not legit. People are using an exploit to get admin on a server. I'm not sure if they changed their names themselves or it just logs them in as Rocket though.

Try lowering the settings. In particular disabling shadows and lowering AA. You can also change the dayz config in your documents to reduce GPU load and increase performance. find these lines and change the values. GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=0;

Its probably a combination of desync, shit aim, 3rd person being inaccurate, and you not considering bullet trajectory -
This is fucking retarded. 3k zombies is nothing on a map this size specially when they aren't respawning as it is. If you want a shitty PVE zombie experience there are loads of mods for Arma 2 that do that and much better than this stupid idea.
