I Found the answer, and it was indeed the newer version of my Video graphics driver! but thanks for the advise folks! ^^

I Hope you realise that if there is sun in real life, you can see that there is half night and half day in real life too... it dosent go stright dark in matter of seconds.... and btw. if its rainy thunder grey skies. and blue on other hand, that can cause this effect.. and btw that screenshot is taken from DayZ as a "picture" and how can it be a DayZ ripoff when its the same guy making it? comeon please shoot me to become more stupid <.< i bet the real product will be insane awesome. so i am gonna buy it! :)

Hello, My name is GhOst and i am a long time Sniper fan in games, also in zombie games, anything with sniper rifle to do, too much experience with those guns, In BF3 games as i am not a fan of CoD at all! but i also had this great idea that just came to my head while people where sniping innocent people on youtube.. i have my self been sniped while not being on guard and its hell boring. so here is a suggestion and thought that may be helpfull for everyone that agrees on this. and want to help me out as I help you out. Win Win situation for everyone. If someone help me gear up fully equipped with a usefull sniper, Ghillie, GPS / MAP, Watch and a backpack and ammo, and food to survive, I will not just help you or your clan to clear out buildings / Airfields and then i will apparently shoot everyone that is not inside the clan, because i help the clan out. but when i am not actively Helping a clan i wont shoot anyone BUT other snipers shooting at innocent people players to help them get resources inside towns. How ever. I wont be practicly talking in chat then, but i will listen so i know where you guys are at, so i know who's not to shoot. then i was thinking, Clans are all filled up with food and stuff, so instead of being this retarded surviver killing everyone for food, maybe i could help them out in exchange for food. or stuff like that. but there is always a risk, and there is a downhill in this, there is NO ingame chat on most servers, I would love to have a server where i can call out to people i am about to shoot at (if they got zombie problems) so i can make sure they dont panic while i am helping them getting out of places! so if anyone have a suggestion on a server with a chat, and this becomes a success! Ok so I as everyone else (well probably most of us) walking around in the deep unforgiven forest! i spot a bandit camp. but as i had all the loot i needed so i didnt mind going near it, I desied to camp it for some time, made sure to fill up my waterbottle at the nearest waterpit so i could stay for a while, i move to approxment 750-850meters away from it on a far hill top, scoping in and hoping! about an half an hour later 3 guys appears into the camp, it could've been the owners or just some camp raiders, i land 1 center of mass shot and 1 headshot then the third dissapears the guy i shot didnt die by the bullet impact, but he died later on by bleeding out ^^. and what i see in the side chat was: "I died without hearing an gunshot!" and then it was followed up by a 10 minute long conversation about how hackers could kill you silently. i laughed but really? hackers get all the blame for your shots at high effective range! its hilarious. :D check your damn envoirment before walking stright into an open field! I died rescently aswell because i tought i was safe until i heard someone put a whole clip towards me (misses) goes silent for a second then BAM I am laying there probably had a lucky shot. This game is freaking scary at points. you cant trust anybody, you cant feel safe anywhere, you never know if you get watched from distance. you never know when a bullet lands in your head! its all what a game needs! the excitement for allways being in danger! it does really sharpen your instingts ^^ but they can fail aswell so you cant even trust them! you have to make a bloody descision that can end up leading to a bullet to your head. and it can happen every single square meter of the damn game! if you dont enjoy that! oh damn you :D shots where taken with the DMR. Effective range : 800 meters

If i saw the bus like that, i would shoot the engine block, then i would execute every single soul in it ^^ reason is, They dont have any escape route if you got nice vision (because obiviously you broke their escape route by breaking the bus. and because they wouldnt be safe anywhere! not even close to the bus as you can explode it up! and who needs a bus anyway? its not like this is a sunday trip for the old people! :)

Yes this is about the bad serial key bug. I have had this for like 2 days now, constantly i've been trying to find a soloution on it, but i just cant, i've tried everything! i've tried stuff from other forum threads, i've tried stuff i've found everywhere else. I HAVE TRIED Everything. but now this game is unplayable, i cant get anywhere :/ its so frustrating and boring because i loved this game and now i cant play it... not even the normal game. well mate, i had been playing this game for 6days before. so it isnt from the beginning. but i have also tried to reinstall the game :)

Here is what i've done: I have tried reinstalling the games. I have tried to delete the @DayZ folder and Reinstalling it with some Beta expansion run thing. I have Reinstalled the anti cheat program I have ran steam in Administrator. I have gone this way. ARMA 2, OA. BUT I CANT run CO. I have read so many threads, and on every thread i find the same solution so i am stuck, really i've been searching for 10+ hours for 2 days just for a solution. havent found any that works. but what is strange i get this black screen with white text, goes a few lines down and then nothing happens, the Combined operation wont run. I have also tried to run DayZ from the Six launcher. And i do read mister. Every single thread i've been finding about this.

Ok so i read about people whinning about removing the 50.'s Anti material sniper rifles! and here is some facts that not everyone know about those "Campers" in DayZ. You get killed and the only thing you hear is a loud gun shot, you asume it is a sniper and aslong those 50.'s are long wanted and really popularly in games, THEY get the blame. but its pitch dark in DayZ when there is midnight and for the 50. to work it would have to have an scope that reflect heat. witch in this case is even more rare as the normal AS50. because As50 dosent work with NVG's. There is only 1 sniper that works with NVG's and thats the DMR. witch isnt a 50. and idd the 50. is rarely in use, but most of the sniper team have 1, incase they need it. and if you think that 1 military base have 1 sniper each, your misstaken. and here is what i want you to understand: A sniper in DayZ he is probably a camper, but really. can you really call him a camper? he is trying to survive, he has found his way to survive, but if he is at a roof top, he probably have to go down to get food (when he runs out) or refill water Witch is more often! witch means that he HAVE to go down to get to resuply. If you think logically, you should know where a sniper is hidden! me my self play as a sniper and i love the aspect of the game! but when i have to get supplies? god please save me.! YOU have to risk everything including that 50. to survive! and as i play a sniper and have done in all fps's i've played here is 1 tactic i allways go with when i shall counter one... Locate him, thats rule nr.1: how to do so you may ask "he shoot me already" yes of course he did, you didnt take care of your self and put your self in danger. constantly use binoculars (You should ALLWAYS have one) in this case (city) watch roof tops! allways popular for those campers. watch every floor of an building especially Cherno as its an industrial area. pipes, everything that can give them high sight over the town / area they are "camping". when you have located him then DONT Move towards him, thats rule nr2. If you have located the sniper (witch you should do before entering the city: Try go around! be aware you can face other people with guns (but atlest thats not the camper right?) so if you see his head, he is already guarding the area you are standing! witch means if you try to crawl right in where you located him your risk to get shot is increasingly high as he may already have you scoped in already! so here is rule nr 3 FLANKING: Try to walk around as i said above, but if he havent seen you, dont lose him, allways try to Control where he is facing and move carefully, if you start running he might aswell see heavy movement and will face directly at you. and one moment and then BAM, your dead that wasnt the snipers fault, that was YOUR fault because you where stupid enough to dont care. but aswell attracting zombies is never a good idea, is it? i've heard they LOVE brains! and about the Camping, Rule nr 4! Every sniper as i said above need to go down to get supplies! so whats rule nr4? CAMP BACK, allways watch the snipers Escape area (bring food and enough drink to actually be waiting patiently for him to have to go down) this way you can easly face his stupidness and kill him! he just died because you where smarter then him! What is a common misstake of an sniper ingame? They CAMP to kill people, thats one huge misstake, why you might say, he gets kills! Ofc he gets kills, because people are narrowminded and they think about 2 things, watching the zombies, and getting away... and if you focus on those 2 things and you suddenly hear gunshots you cant be able to locate them! and this game is So realistic in the way that you actually have to use your brain to survive, think strategic! here is an example of me being able to locate the sniper by just thinking!. I was in the firestation in cherno, Scavenging for supplies as everyone needs that! I aswell! and i was sneaking out! stupidly i choose the maingate (towards the industry area) perfect for a sniper to try get rid of me! and what happens? 3 shots! BAM, BAM, BAM. he misses all 3 times, what did he do wrong? he shot more then once. if he had shot once, i wouldnt be able to locate him. but 3 bullets and a miss? damn.. i found out after couple of seconds that this sniper where facing me in the buildning across the street abit ahead of me witch had 3 stairs (i am not sure how to say it better) and I ran away and sneak into the building and there he was STUPIDLY facing out to the city (because they dont think people actually flank them, they think they are safe) so I sneak up to him and gave him 1 pistol bullet to the head. and then your question might be. what to do when its pitch black and midnight? I have just 1 answer. DONT go into the town. I am a sniper, but i hunt snipers and bandits, not survivers! but if they are comming too close, i shoot them too! Be friendly to one and eachother! DONT shoot eachother for eachother loots, try to gather up and kill the zombies. they are the actual threat here! :)

I really understand your point. But for a new player or a player that wants to survive long enough, sneaking around the sniper is the perfect oppoturnity and almost the only chance! this is a "survival" RPG where survival is the hot shot here! this means that taking your time is a needed factor if you want to survive long enough! yes in FPS they are Ruining the game! but this isnt a FPS game this is an RPG survival where you play as a surviver or a bandit. can be called role playing games! this post is mainly and i hope you understand that this is a post regarded to people wanting to survive as long as possible! hackers are hackers, they are worse then snipers! :) so i hope you get the point. And i have headshotted people with DMR over 600-700 meters (only other snipers / Bandits). but aswell i am used the bullet drop my longest shot in BF3 is 1600 meter! and you gotta understand that between 300-600 meter the bullet drop is minimal. so if the target is a standstill, of course it is a Aim and shot, but if he's running you gotta count in travel time before you pull the trigger.

You man, gets my beans! :) thats exactly why i do it! I dont kill Innocent people! I dont even kill survivers with just a hand gun either (aslong as they dont fire first) ofc.

thats true! but a sniper shouldnt be anything but proned! thats why it is so easy to sneak around snipers on roof tops! :) get my point?

well... this isnt mainly about killing the sniper, its a post mainly about surviving the time you need in the city to get resuplies! :) but yes he could.. no doubt about that, but he might not think that far, right?

and just to answer your question, thats already in the game! A moving sniper is weak as a mouse! because he cant draw the gun as quickly as a cowboy in texas! :P unless he uses his gun :) a sniper cant run and shoot! so this is already something witch is there!^^

This is not mainly a Anti AS50 thread, this is how to kill a sniper thread, witch can be really usefull for "narrowminded" people :) and its nothing wrong with narrowminded people, but they tend to blame the wrong things!

you can carry it around like its a SMG, but you cant shoot it like it is one ;)
