Hello, I'm making a steam group for french, belgian and Quebec friends. We will be anti-bandits, and promote helping of new players, teamplay and good behavior beetween players. You just see the true face of people in game because they think there s no rules. Genreration MTV think this is highlander. That it can only be one. This isnt true. When you see someone, he can be - a friendly, a noob, an ennemy, a guy that dont want trouble and just want to pass by and be leaved in peace, an helpfuyll compaion, if you get to know him, etc ... This isnt COD or BF. You are not forced to shoot everything that move cowboy style. Also as i state before, the frustration is real, the player can sometimes (depending on his mood/feelings) feel it behind his computer. The goal of games isnt to DESTROY others. It s to make something to eliminate that frustration, like after a long day of boring and repetitive work. I dont get how you learned to disrespect others players like that. We re here because we re survivors. It has no point of beeing the last man on Earth.

This feature lack in all games since too long. I remember when i was playing RPG books, we would allways refilled our clip with bullets to maximum when we had time. It can take a bit of time, but it s very annoying to have 1 slot taken by clip containing 1 or 2 bullets ...

Also, i m thinking on how King Arthur's Gold did. Free but one time fee for more gameplay option/person on server/ whatever. Also if you could look at thehunter game (free) their engine is delightfull :D

A lot of you want game purchase, but i think it would be better to: -Kickstarter to get money you need (for engine, dev team) -Free play with item shop FOR VISUAL EFFECTS ONLY (new models, skin, same stats weapons but other visual) So the kid and low money dudes can still play and enjoy the game, and it will be more populated. I'm totally against DLC politics, but it can be a good alternative when the devlopers are honnest (=well planified income and outcome of money) -If you aim very big (you just need the divine inspiration to find where this genious network coder dude is) and make some kind of half instancied MMOFPS. I would be in Heaven :D

What about Mantis for bug reporting And maybe also uservoice for new features (well depending on how you will let the players "decide" of the future of the mod) I would also love to see a "Players Art Contributions" sub forum, where dev's would put some missions for players to help them with 3D, textures, logo, sounds, whatever.

Hehe, cool idea to bypass the system :) Maybe a togglable variable or something like that. But also, i dont know if it s more shcking eating a team mate or beeing attack by rotting corpses :/

1- download all files at http://www.armafiles.info/dayz/ 2- extract all in arrowhead steam folder/@dayz/Addons 3- modify steam shortcut of arrowhead, add "-mod=@dayz -nosplash" 4- launch arrowhead, and choose combined operation when prompted 5- run for your life

i had the same problem yesterday, when looking a particular direction, some random polygons would appear and block my view (pretty badly)

yeah you would find Clips or ammo boxes, and you would keep your empty clips to refill for later use. That would add a terrific gameplay. It's a bit retarded to "throw" all your so precious clips away. ***Removed anti-neocolonialism prejudice***
