This is a zombie survival game, not Arma. DayZ used to be a lot more exciting pure vanilla public hive, every server used to be public hive. -

I would rather you actually not doing either. Then you get the shitty 1000 cars, military loot, NV spawn, heli crash sites, massive guns, AI, all that shit. I'm so tired of it, and I really feel like all the custom servers really destroyed my experience. I don't feel as excited anymore, when going into a game. All the servers are custom, and I would really honestly prefer there to be no custom servers. I'm done with the bs. The game is not what it used to be BECAUSE of custom servers. -
Instead of that you know you could just make a combination of probably 4 cans and a string line and make an old fasioned alarm system. It clanks when someone runs through it, or something. I would actually suggest this, considering it's realistic, and smart.

I seriously want one of the community staff members or someone that knows him to start up a kickstarter, or something along those lines. I would like to give back, more than just buying the game. He has been one of the most compasionate and most inspirational developer I have ever seen. ( That's not said easily by me ) Can someone make this possible, so that all funds go to Dean, and the DayZ staff? I want to give back, and I feel like some of the community does too.

I've always thought that military loot should be extremely rare, i.e. m16's, ak47's More common weapons should be like beretta's, hunting rifles, hunting shotguns, g17, all those. -

LOL this. There's no game that I cannot play on maximum settings. Yeah, that's probably true. But I can 100% assure you you do not get 60 frames at all times. I dunno what is up with your freezing, but you may want to lower graphics quality. Btw, 32 gigs of ram, is quite unessecary. -

Even if. He's a really great developer, and one of the best i've seen. Im kinda going on and on about this, but I seriously do feel like he still deserves more than just that. He has made me have some of the happiest days because of DayZ. -

I wouldn't exactly go through with selling stuff that isn't yours. I.e. DayZ name, or the peoples stories that THEY wrote unless you asked all of them. I like it though, no doubt. I hope that the offical DayZ release has a collectors edition.

Putting steam DLC on a retail version of A2:OA

I honestly think you cannot do this. Your games arent actually bought through steam, therfor steam doesnt recongnize you have them. You bought them completely seperate, and you need to buy the STEAM versions for the STEAM DLC to work. -

Aging sounds awesome. For every week IRL you survive, you age one year, you start at 18-23. You could instantly tell the veterans from the others then. I would seriously Love this.
