I'm mainly noticing these reports for servers we don't have access to so it leads me to believe the script protection is out dated. The script protection that we have keeps the majority out, some have learned what to use and what not to use, sadly. No matter what they use it will be logged, may not kick them, but it will be logged and eventually detected. New information is going to be posted soon to help these servers out.. In the mean time just bare with us. There isn't much we can do when host(s) sort of lock us out of certain parts, and i'm not saying it as in it's all their fault because its not. It is extremely hard for us to keep track of oh what is it now? 250+ servers? and to communicate effectively with all of the server hosts is quite hard.. :P

OK, Before this gets out of hand. No matter who you are, you are obligated to be banned, depending on how the rules are set for that exploit it can be permanent or it can be temporary. If you pickup a spawned illegal weapon and receive a ban, by all means, dispute it and post a unban appeal and we will look into your profile. If nothing stands out between extensive scanning then you can be unbanned.

That's not going to happen. I'm the one that is primarily stuck with finding cheaters, banning them. People doing this makes a EVEN bigger mess for me. I'm sick of it. As I stated in the announcement, people are going to start receiving bans for it. I don't care if they PAY me not to ban them, they're getting banned because again, i'm the one cleaning this shit up. I have a LOT of things to do and I don't need to be cleaning this type of crap up and seeing it plastered all over the forums. They can take their week ban and deal with it or they can go cry to Dean 'Rocket' and he can say otherwise but even HE has a lot of stuff to do and creating a method to fix this is time consuming on his end when there are bigger bugs out there to fix. These bans are to get people to stop doing this. Period.

Hello Everyone, I'm here to address the issue with people killing other players when they join in the Debug Forest, this whole thing has gotten out of control so we're going to start enforcing bans for all that are caught killing in the debug forest. Using this exploit will earn you a min. of a one week ban, once your week ban is lifted and you continue to do this, a more permanent ban will be put in place. This IS considered an exploit therefor you will be punished for it. To be honest as to why people kill new players joining in through there is completely pointless as they do not have any gear on them. *** REPORTING PEOPLE KILLING PEOPLE THERE *** As this is considered a cheat report if you're going to report players for killing people in the debug area you must be sure they are actually killing there. The best way to know if a player is killing in the debug area is if 1-3 kills pop up at a time. Example: Joe bob was killed by Billy bob Timmy was killed by Billy bob Jose was killed by Billy bob This is a clear sign that this player is killing people that have not fully initialized so when reporting the player it's best that you take a screen shot and report it in the cheat reports with the screen shot. We will not take a look into the person if you DO NOT POST A SCREEN SHOT. Please also list which server(s) this happened on with the screen shot.

It's to enforce hard decisions. Who knows really... Deans mind is something else...

Our mistake, The name was not on our records and no EU21 showed on the list (this is why we don't use spaces). Dere, just take EU22, and shift EU22 to EU23 :P Sorry for the confusion guys.

Well, Globally. Servers running monitor will automatically receive the new ban list and script protection, those that do not should have the instructions and location of the current up-to-date list.

I stopped being lazy *minus the fact that silentspy's server isn't up-to-date on bans and script protection but i've went ahead and added a LOT of new protection to prevent these sort of things.

Banned. Nuff said.

This is what our current inbox looks like. 110 Unread emails. We respond to 30, 50 more pop up. There are only a total of around 3-5 of us that are doing these server requests. Around 5-15 servers get deployed each day because of the time it takes for us to get in contact with the host to get everything setup and ready to go.

Well you're not banned by us, I would say it's not a ban but an issue with trying to connect to servers with the beta patch.

You were detected and banned for using game cheats on multiple servers. This includes giving yourself restricted weapons seen from both the server logs and the database along with god mode, teleporting and other various cheats. And there is no mistake about it because it was on various different servers and your playerID, GUID and IP all match. I don't want the excuse 'My little brother was playing on my PC' because that's not going to fly.

For a proper unban you need to list your playerid, and GUID. To get your playerid start Arma 2 and at the main menu goto player profiles -> your OA profile and your playerID will be there. To get your GUID go into any random server with BE enabled without the beta patch and DayZ and type in chat: #beclient guid

Nothing can be done about this 'cheater' anyways because we don't have access to the server, the host have changed / locked us out so there is nothing we can do until they move to a server where we can go in and access the server logs. A lot of these servers are not up-to-date with our bans or script protection, a lot of new protection has been added in the last two days to kick these users out, but when every server isn't running the same protection it's a bit redundant. So until the host can provide us with the proper logs that we need or access back to RDP there is sadly not much to do, and relifing a character is a lot more time on our side when that user can simply find the gear they lost within about the same time it takes us to relife them. Let this be a future note to all the server admins that don't provide us with access to the logs or anything. If you want to get rid of cheaters then you need to stay up-to-date with what we provide and give us some sort of access to check logs daily for new cheaters.
