Lots if them Are private hive servers they have no control over, and some aren't following rules.

HFB sent out an email about pulling FTP and file manager access. Not sure if that's the OPs reference or not Hey there! Time for another HFB update email! Last of all, we regret to say that, at the request of the DayZ team we will be removing� filemanager and FTP access to our servers. The file manager will remain, but users will only have access to the beserver.cfg in "/cfgdayz/BattlEye" in order to change their rcon/maxping details. Access to the text editor for configuration files is also being removed , and being replaced with a form-based configuration editor. Oh I'm logged in via rcon a lot, but he'll if I'll admin log in to play. That just attracts every tool living in moms basement to yell that I stole their weapons, teleported them, ate their porridge or slept with their girlfriend...... No thanks, I'd rather they not know I was online at that point....

With HFB you'll have to put in a ticket for them to move you to a box with the timezone you want. It runs on server / OS time. Vilayer has a beta thing to switch time that works sometimes.

Well, welcome to admin world.... You should now that now that you a server admin you'll be accused of everything from farming your own loot, nuking your server, spawning jets, global warming, killing JFK and anything else that goes wrong in some players day...... Good luck! :)

You mean the first one that says "Don't post your global bans here"? So the OP titles this Global Ban and posts it then gets pissed when he doesn't get nice replies....

Well the easy ones are the idiots who use stuff like config/MyScripts/ammo.sqf. Simple search on MyScripts in your script.log picks them out. Certain sqf's are scripts kiddie typical as well Such as ammo.sqf, cars.sqf, etc... You'll never get them all, do your best.... As for locking? Well do what you need to do. There will be some tool playing server cop likely posting in a thread that you locked whether it was two minutes during a patch test or two weeks farming gear.

If your "arma stucks" its likely BE kicking you for bad ping or lost communication.

We don't need auto install of he latest version! That creates a mess. The first server version of 1.7.2 was porked and those who adopted that afternoon had huge issues. I try to lag 12 to 24 hours of a release to make sure it cures more than it causes Other issue with auto push is the server named version would be wrong until we log in and fix it. Some of us have real careers and can't hover over the server console all day.

Yep, I could save $100+ a month and not have everyone blaming me for lost gear, missing beer, couch stolen, girlfriend leaving them or their cat being pregnant or anything else the admins get blamed for.......

Lets get this right, ok? We are supposed to believe that you sprinted from the coast to the NW airfield before your body was gone and while your killer was looting you? Straight up sprinted, no food, no drink, agro'd nothing on the way up and stopped for no supplies. You come one here, admit such and ask the server to be banned? Uh huh.
