A new player who wants to play the game like me should just wait for the stand alone? I was thinking of getting the arma 2 +dlc and dling the mod but if they are going to make a stand alone I guesss I should just wait for that. Does anyone know when it will come out and where it will be available for pirchase? Hopefully it won't cost more then $30 tho. If anyone could answer these thanks. inb4 trolls with ego and time to waste

damn that sucks not sure what to do war z seems to be nothing as of right now since theres no gameplay but I would like to play day z being the inventors of such a cool concept for a game but from what I'm reading the hackers/bugs are a little overblown right now.... or I could wait a long time for a stand alone. choices :|

I really like the Day Z aspect of perma death and valuing your character like it's your life but the price makes it arguable since I've never played the game. What do you guys think?

I have also heard this something about be teled to some location and getting killed by hackers or something that also has me worried although you can counter it f4ing from what I heard

I said if the mod is worth 30$ as in is it worth buying arma 2 and it's dlc I already know the mod is free but I'm just asking for opinions if I should spend 30$ on a game that seems like shit just to play a mod that has good potential to be great.
