I can agree to that. As far as I'm concerned, I realize that in certain situations (IE getting shot square in the chest in the woods) would typically be an end-of-life situation. But lest we forget this is a game. If I don't have a buddy, my chances of dying should definitely be increased, but it shouldn't bee a death sentence. And for the part about getting into the warehouse (busting out a window or climbing a ledge) I agree with that too. We lone wolves, understand the challenge of being alone, which is what makes us enjoy the play-style. But hey, even the Darryl Dixons out there still want/need companionship from time to time, because in the end were all still human. Just don't force me to abandon my ways. Make it more of an incentive then a clear cut advantage.

I'm sorry, but if the fact that I play alone is going to stop me from achieving any certain task than that's wrong because is definitely forcing play-styles. I'd agree that doing something solo instead of as a group should in fact take a longer time to accomplish, but don't handicap me because I'm a mountain man. IE: I can disassemble a rotor assembly into smaller parts to carry, make a self-transfusion kit, or whatever. But don't think for a second that disabling my ability to get into a warehouse because I have no buddy to help me open the gate will fly with a large amount of the community. I'm all for having more reasons to cooperate with others, it just can't be forced. This is MY story. Not OUR story.

I'm currently playing on a vanilla server that literally has maybe 3-different players on it in a day. It doesn't really bother me much because of the fact I've reverted back to the woodsman play style and find myself passing up m16s and such. My trusty Lee Enfield and a campfire in the woods with some bacon makes me happy. Found a 4x4 truck the other day that made me giddy as it helps in collecting extra meat and spare parts. Past that I could care less. The mods definitely reached a low point in population, but that will all change with the SA. I'm not going to dog you for this statement, but you can't flame on someone's play-style because you don't like it. Prior to woodsman I was a bandit, but I never traveled in a group bigger than 3 men or had a sniper over watcher. This could actually be a good discussion if the intensity of the thread was a little lower.

I do realize that the Infected in Dayz are more based on the '28 Days Later' zed and not Walking Dead zed, but in both situations infected are attracted to anything that's alive. This is definitely a viable suggestion. I try to play in the 'Mountain Man' style of game-play (hunting game and only venturing into town for ammo/medical supplies) and fighting over prey with zed would be an interesting part of my day. Since the update I've found it increasingly hard to find woodland critters to eat, and this would add a whole new dimension to it which I can appreciate. Beans for this suggestion. The thread jacking should be stopped as of now though, to allow more discussion/opinions on this aspect :beans:
