    Hum, I wonder what valve is doing with vac... By your logic, valve would be out of business already. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globally_unique_identifier Edit: Oh right... You cant assign GUID bans to certain computers etc, forgot... :)

    I have a better idea.. What if the Standalone game also used BattlEye, it would be possible to assign bans from the mod to the standalone game using the GUID if I'm right.

    Just to clear things up for people, ArmA 2 is a rather CPU hungry beast I might say, it doesn't crave for GPU as much because it does all the simulations etc. real-time so it can put quite a strain on your CPU and not so much on your GPU. But yeah, you should definitely try ArmA 2 free, you got nothing to lose than your time, right? Hehe.

    I know that this has something to do with corrupted HIVE registry on the players account or something like that... Probably caused when shutting down ArmA while the server is creating character etc.

    I'm sorry, but I highly doubt that a laptop with a dual core processor is able to run ArmA 2, let alone DayZ.
