Voted for DayZ.. Why? Because in the last Month i played games like Diablo etc. etc. But they were not able to hold me playing them. So one friend told me that he is playing a Zombie game and i was like ( ugh again a Left4Dead Zombie game..? ) Then i started playing this beatiful Mod and it hit me right in the heart. I'm not complaining of artifacts, bugs etc. because the Main thing is there and this is what keeps me playing this Mod! I even can't wait to pay for the standalone because i know this Mod will handel it on their own. I mean why are we complaining of an Alpha? Instand of complaining we should be proud of this mod because it is one of the best mods in Alpha status that i ever had seen! So yea that is why DayZ is getting a Vote from me. P.S: I hope you are able to understand my terrible english.

If you updated it manually you will not be able to start it with the Six launcher because it will overwrite everything to 1.7.2.4 again. I solved my problem and i will tell you how to do ^^. If you have the Steam version go to you Steam folder>Steamapps>common>arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. You will see this bat file _runA2CO_beta. Rightclick it and open it with Notepad, editor etc. Scroll down to the :run line. You will find this "-mod=%_ARMA2PATH%;EXPANSION;ca" change it to "-mod=%_ARMA2PATH%;EXPANSION;ca;@DayZ". In the same line you will find this "-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion" -window -nosplash etc. remove the -window. Then it should look like this "-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion" -nosplash etc. Now you could drag and drop your DayZ 1.7.2.5 files again to the addons folder in your @DayZ if your Six laucher had overwrite it. Now run the bat file ( _runA2CO_beta ) And it should work. P.S: Sorry for my bad english xD

I know how to launch it in Steam. In Steam it is working fine but i wanted to know how he is launching it ^^ Via Steam, SU, SL etc. So we have to wait until the update is comeing for the Six launcher.

So how do you launch / play the game if you are not using the SU or the SL? Via Steam?

Ok the Six laucher said "Update" but it is still on 1.7.2.4 ^^ Do i have to download it then manually ?

bump. Any help`? EDIT: I noticed that in the Left corner is only Arma II OA not Arma 2 o.o If i launch it with the Six launcher in the Left corner is both. Arma 2 OA and Arma 2 So is this maybe the problem why i are not able to join any Server if i launch it via steam?

Haha. In D3 was a bug that you could enter a godmod. This bug was from beginning there and was fixed a week ago, so they are not fixing something in 1-3 days, so be quiet. The Dev Team is doing a great job and they need time. If they are doing a big Patch like 1.7.3 it is worth it to wait in my opinion. Better wait instead getting an half finished Update. Can't wait to for 1.7.3 btw :D

Congrats to the dev team. I'm a huge fan of the DayZ mod and I'm happy with it, even if it is in an Alpha :) I'm pretty sure DayZ will be a great game and i can't wait to see more informations to the standalone game and Arma 3 on the games com. And yea i think almost every Game ( today ) have some bugs but this is our world, humans make mistakes and this is good :) But i have a question to the Dev team. The standalone alpha will cost some money, but are you able to tell us how we are going to buy it? With paypal ( like minecraft), paysafecard etc. etc. ? I hope you are able to understand my bad english (: And i hope to hear from you guys :D

This problem only appears if you are trying to join a very full ( Like 40/50 ) Server or a Server with an bad ping. Just try some servers with maybe 10-30 players. You will see it will be alot faster etc. ;)

I had the same problem just turn of your firewall. Go on your server wait until in the Left corner stays " Battleye update completed" and then turn your firewall back on ^^.

Do never get in love with your loot and your play time. If you die you will be sad. This is the game. I also hate this ALT+F4 thing. If I'm going to die i will not press any buttons to disconnect even if i have a ghillie suit and NV goggles. It makes more fun to die and to plan things better and better, so you will not die so quickly. believe me ;) But yea everyone has his own favor. I wish you good luck maybe you will get your Items back :) P.S: Sorry for my bad english ^^

Hmm it seems that i can not join any server. But first of all if i start DayZ on Steam this error pops up Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Dubbing_Counterattack' Then the game starts normaly. Now I'm in the Titel menu and this Error pops up No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Citizen1.scope'. Then i press on Multiplayer and the Servers and my Client is updated but I'm not able to join any server. If i try to join a server first there is " Waiting for host" ( This is normal if i launch and play Dayz from the Six Launcher) But after a few seconds in the chat on the left corner said "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependet on downloadable content that has been deleted.chernaus." Maybe you know what do do :) I will wait and play some DayZ from the Six launcher. I really appreciate your help. Can't wait to play it via Steam *-* So see you later :) Edit: Sorry for my bad english i hope you can understand it :)
