This is the suggestion i saw on a youtube video about what can happen to people who kills a lot. Anways the idea is as you kill people your character starts lossing there mind. Which makes sense because look at soldiers who suffer from ptsd or just in general have killed or watched someone die, it effect almost every soldier and other people that have witnessed similar things. So as you kill people your character gets effected a bit like maybe you hear thing like foot steps near you or see things that aren't there, nothing that allows people you see or hear you better just something that's local only to your character. And this does make sense because most people wouldn't be able to kill another human being without some kind of effect on them afterwards. Now of course the effect can be different then what I said above but, I think a random sound like someone is near by such as a foot step or gun shot would be good and a quick glimmer of something on screen that makes you panic thinking was that someone. Also some characters would have to not be effected by since this some people can kill, rape, and whatever without a single thought of "well that was messed up or I feel bad" Anyways give me your thoughts on it and how you think it could be done, also this isn't a penality it's a consquence of actions that is a very real thing. Also of course the dcing issue needs to be fixed first

There are Ghillie suits designed for the sole purpose of counting thermals devices, but they aren't common. I think the more common creams and face paints would be a better addition since these are more likely to be found in the real world. Also can we please make Ghillie suits the satanic fire hazard they are in real life, because if youve seen the videos and read the story's of ghillies burning, you would never wear a Ghillie suit even remotely close to a fire.

Death should be punished because your goal is to survive so if you fail at that, why should you be allowed to just get right back in. But admins should wipe out the ban hammers and start coming down hard on griefers. Because if those people have nothing to fear from being griefers, what reason do they have to stop.

Svd might be the only weapon I would kill someone for, but I don't under stand why it's rare when the gun irl is on of the most common marksman rifles in the world. -

The g17 is one of the best pistols super effective against guys using nvg's, also very accurate not the mention its just above notice level to zombies as suppressed weapons. Also the size of round is meaningless it were you hit that makes all the difference. Now as for this idea I like it, makes sense and it's nothing complex or at least it appears not to be. -
Something I think that should be done to the zeroing system that would make it more realistic is you no longer have set distances. So now when you zero a weapon you have the mil number, click, or what ever it is for that weapon. This means zeroing a weapon requires you to not only to know the distance but to know the mil the optic needs to be set at for that range. Now each optic would vary because not all optics use the same set up. This could also be used with a system were you have to zero a weapon you find, in order to make sure it will hit where you aim. This makes the act of sniping more difficult and more realistic, also if you have you sight in a weapon you find that makes picking up weapons all the time very risky, since they might have their sights off thus missing your target is very easy. Also if you have used a rifle before you know sighting in the firearm is extremely important, because even a rifle you bought from someone you often have to spend the time to adjust the irons and/or optics on.

Thank you, also at close range this won't matter much only those that fight beyond close quarters combat would really be effected. Well the idiots who know nothing about sniping and think its easy would be turned off to it. Because shooting at long range is skill that is very hard to get good at.

I was making the point nearly everyone here is taking out of there ass, and not in the least bit presenting anything that proves them right. But your right most people wouldn't know how to bandage themselves in real life, and some if shot would go full retard I bet and believe they have to get the bullet out. But note how societies did form but we are are still in a way separate, we generally group with people who are similar to ourselves. If you google it a bit, you might find the video I say done with very young children and two stuffed animals. Both animals were he exact same except one like a snack the kids liked and the other liked the snack the kids didn't like. An deven thou both animals acted the same and looked the same the kids always wanted to be friends with the one that liked their snack. There is more to it but that sums it up for the most part. Anyways kinda says a lot about the herd mentality we have as a species. -

So if you think people will just kill people in reality PROVE IT if you think people won't be slaughting one another but try to rebuild PROVE IT Other wise every thing you guys say is bullshit and holds zero value, because you have no creditable evidence to support you claim. -
Survival is a something you should be constantly working at like in reality, so making it closer to reality I support.

The idea itself maybe not me realistic but the ability to know who is a danger and who isn't, that is. Because in reality a person isn't a blank slate like in game so you are able to read body language and thus be able to figure out if you can approach or not. -
I like the detail you go into and I love the realism this would bring so, I love this idea.

It's realistic and I support it, but your crude and unreal gameplay style I don't . Now if people could lock down an area then by all means have shoot on site, since you guarding you claim. But I think just laying in grass to long or going prone throughit should leave the grass pressed down, that way you can more easily identify sniper hides and trails.

Well some would be good for some time, but it would in reality vary a lot depending on how many systems were involved. Because if it was just a satellite and a gps the system would work for a good amount of time, but if you has ground centers involved and such then failure would happen sooner. But I think waypoints should be removed, unless you have a gps. But I rather have the gps be able to set up a route, so if you have a vehicle you know where to turn all the time.

Here's some beans for you reminding me of someone awesome, someone like me But my idea of this was longer or have admins the ability to set it to even a few hours, making death a more real thing. But that is a bad idea since most admins don't seem to enforce anything, meaning griefers will gain smiles

Well they aren't zombies just suffering from a level of mental decay that's driving them insane, I'd say have some that are armed but in buildings suffering from very easily stages of the infection. That way they are stil able to function but they are highly aggressive. Again people these aren't zombies rocket even has said in a number of interviews they are infected because that's a more realistic possibility.

I saw the light source for this should be of low power and similar to chem lights where at a certain distance you cant see the lite area anymore. Maybe have the light about 3-5 times brighter than a chem light and not visible beyond 100-250 meters, that way it's good and will be used. But isn't that imaginary death sentence that people make flash lights out to be. Also can we please get that stupid bug fixed that allows light to pass through every building and piece of material in its way, because that just does fuck up every flare, chem light, and flash light user in game in or near buildings.

Bandit/Survivor Morphing to be removed

I glad he is bringing the bandit skin back, because it may not be realistic in itself but the ability to know who is dangerous or possibly a threat is. Because the way someone moves, holds a weapon, and just watches things around them irl can a lot of the time tell you enough on if they should be avoided or if they are safe to approach. -
Would be nice since it would allow svd ammo to be more common. But there would need to be varying conditions of the mosins because some you buy can be nice and smooth and just feel perfect, well others can has bad bolts, bad sights, and much more. Plus considering these are used mosins and I doubt are really cared for.

The only thing I worry about is who is shaping the mod now, because at some point every creator of something popular has to choose between what they like and what people like. I started playing this mod because of rockets original vision of it, but if players start shaping it instead I more than likely will stop because it just won't be that realistic end of the world survival sim that made it so interesting to me months ago.

I like it but it should be just swarmed with zombies of at least 25, because a plane crash would make a lot of noise thus draw in a lot of infected
