Vital Things Missing from not reading the home page -its an alpha -its a mod in development getting new stuff added every patch -its an alpha -
after updating the server still keeps saying i got version 1.7.1.1 but i got the latest O.o

ok, i updated to 1.7.1.5, the server keeps saying i use 1.7.1.1 and the server is version 1.7.1.5

people its a LAPTOP, he cant do much about his system apart from adding more ram but he already has 8gigs so thats more then enough. ok like someone said before, 50% of the price of a laptop is for the fact that its a laptop, so what you did is you payed 500$ for the insides, and another 500$ for the plastic thats around it, this is how the laptop buisness is, now there are 2 pages on your DXdiag, the gpu info should be on the 2nd tab. oh and a # rule for buying a laptop if you do need one, never ever ever ever ever ever ever buy a DELL/HP a whole series of one of those has actualy been made to break down, and theres a huge lawsuit runing against them

ok one word for all your solutinons: disconeting (by loss of internet or a problem) its imposible to see the difference between those -
open the start menu, type run and press enter, then type dxdiag, post the details about your graphics and ram here, but with an i5 you already got ripped of if you payed 1000$ and dont asume you have DX11 its still pretty new if you have an older GPU you most likely have 10, but dont worry about that at all caus arma(or allot of games) stil only use DX9 and the best computer isnt even near 1000$ :P just having 2 mars 3 cards will run you at 3000$, and then you only have 2 graphics cards :P, also dayz can run with horible FPS, this is a mod issue, not your computers or the game itself

i do not like this patch, at least to some extent. i like how you start with no gun, but at least make guns easier to find then, now theres no self defence and as soon as you take one step you atract zeds and your dead get us melee weapons or something! the darkness, a bug?, if not, this isnt working, flaslight only makes a small spot and everything around it is black, if you run it shakes around, walking with it is suicide caus every zed can see you anyway

completely different server structure it doesnt have much to do with the size of a server, but arma 2 can already handle 150 people easily, but with that much people on one map it wil be crowded and a allot more pvp then zombie survival. arma 3 wil handle 300 people on a map with ease, but on the new map on there i still think it would be a bad idea to have more then 100 people on it -

dont wory arma 3 is backwards compatible dayz works perfectly on arma 3 as rocket already tried that, so developing on from arma 3 with minimal efort arma 2 version of dayz would have enough suport for a while -
i dont get the majority of the comotion about how it would break the game or make if different for everybody somehow, everyone is thinking to complicated. just make non pvp server, dont like it? dont play on one, the only thing that would prob change is 1 line in the server .INI or somthing, changing friendlyfire= for 1 to 0, everyone is in the opfor team anyway, all that bandits are doing is basicly teamkilling. stop overthinking it :P

why?, i would barricade the shit out of the first best building in RL if there were zombies, this is about surviving, not running and gunning, tough to much people still think that -

hmm to apply for kickstarter you need to be a US resident and i think the maker is swedish, and arma's dev offered to help out with the mod.
