No hackers involved there - if you get stuck loading or Alt F4 you kinda hang in debug plains, then the next server "rescues" you and puts you back on the coast. I am guessing it's a fix with the latest version to fix people ending up in debug plains, which is great, unfortunatly the downside is you get stuck loading for 20 minutes, close down your game through task manger Alt F4 or other "un-natural" way - the next server you end up in you are back on the coast. The map markers are on that server - anyone double clicking the map can make them and everyone can see them.

Yeah, mine is at 8300 right now and it hasn't gone up at all killing zombies. I think theres a lot of mix up right now on what actually raises it becasue of the "standard" 150 raises every certain amount of time when you are under 2500. It's led to all sorts of reports on what raises it which aren't actually true. I am wanting to confirm if killling bandits actually raises your humanity or not, no-one seems to know.

Can anyone confirm if killing bandits raises your humanity or not?

Looks like the creator has abandoned it. When I used it just now it actually reverted me back to the old versions so I'm having to download .5 and the newest beta patch again :( (And the beta patch is taking forever) On to Day Commander I guess.

I took a vow not to kill anyone in this game and so far in 2 months I have stuck to it, except one guy in self defence. I'm usually all over the map searching for vehicles except for Cherno, Electro and the NWA using stealth and avoidance when I see others and never firing a weapon unless forced into it. I don't do PvP in this game so logically I avoid those areas. I'll only venture to the cities when I need bloodbags and morphine with a group of friends. Just because I won't kill you doesn't mean my friend won't kill you to protect the group. I'm not sure if the new skins are going to effect my gameplay yet. But if bandit hunting raises humanity then it fits in with my personal aims for the game - long survival and high humanity, currently at +8300. I've hardly played in the past week since the games been almost unplayable with the deaths from hacking on average every 7 hours and spawning you on the coast if you get stuck connecting to a server. I run north drop off supplies in my tents, I have 3 of them on 3 different servers so it keeps spawning me on the coast since one of them is very unstable (which is exactly why I chose it for my tent). School summer holidays end in Europe at the start of Sept so hopefully things will calm down then with the script kiddies. Nothing makes me sadder than noobs sniping Electro and Cherno since 95% of players in there are new spawns looking for low level loot so I've been searching for groups that help people but have an over 21 policy.

I don't think there is a right way or wrong way to play, didn't Rockets leaderboard on the front page used to be longest survived? So surely outside of exploting/glitching/hacking, anything you choose to do to stay alive and "win" the game (ie getting your name on the leaderboard on the front page) is the way to play. You might be able to stop others "winning" the game by shooting everyone in high traffic areas, but you're probably not going to be on the leaderboards yourself. I don't know why everyone cries about their kills disapearing off their debug monitor when the only stat that counts is how long you have survivied.

I can also confirm at least 5 people being randomly spawned on the coastline complete with all their gear on server changes over the past 5 hours, for me it happened twice both on server changes. None of us had updated to the lastest patch so we were all running 1.7.2.4.

It's really great to see people helping others for a change, instead of established players sat sniping noobs on the beach. Edit: Sorry to say, this guilds policy on letting hackers stay around as members sucks. As a 100% honest player I have to take my leave.

I was pretty sad they took this feature out as I've never killed anyone yet in 6 weeks playing and plan to avoid it if at all possible. In real life you wouldn't be killing off what little remained of the human population would you? Or maybe thats jsut because I'm old and have jsut finished 20 years in the Army that I visualise it this way. Coming here from Left 4 Dead 2 as opposed to BF/CoD type games we never left a man behind even if we all died saving him, even if he was a random pub. Anyhow, I trust in Rockets plans for humanity in the future, and hope there is light at the end of the tunnel for those of us who prefer to help others out.
