I was thinking about this the other day, too, when I was suddenly ambushed by snipers while I rushed into the tower of the firestation in Elektro. I managed to hide on the second floor, with bullets flying around me. Moreover I somehow attracted hundreds of Zombies that followed me into the tower. So there I was, dodging the snipers' bullets and piling up zombies. This took me around 10 minutes - but I survived. I enjoyed the silence for another couple of minutes before i decided to log out, after all I thought, the snipers did not manage to finish their job, and therefore it is legit to log out. Is that considered an exploit or not....i wonder. I could have tried to escape the fire station and then log out....What do you think?

Hi, I was just today on this server, when the player Gayret appeared and seemed invulnerable. I shot him in the head, but nothing happened. Instead I suddenly died. Server was then gone for couple of hours. I was on that server again, just 20 minutes ago, when just he and another player ( Alice) were online. When the loading screen appeared there was a message that sounded like: Alice, your way straight to the moon. Boom. It must have been gayret again. I wrote something in direct chat, telling him that I was gonna report this - and voila, the server is now gone!

Time : 08-13-12, approx. between 8:00 and 9:00 am European time ( Germany) Server: US 753 ( Seattle) What happened: I spawned where i last left near NW airfield, it was pitch black and I had night visions on. Suddenly the player Gayret rolled from left to right into my vision and I fired a whole mag of my M4A1 SD at him ( multiple headshots). He didn't bleed or seemed hur. He stopped moving and wrote in direct chat "Ow". He then had suddenly night vision goggles on, I started to run away ( damn me I didnt Alt F4) and then I died. Dropped from 12000k to -3600. When I tried to relog, the server was suddenly gone. Thats why I think he is the admin. If you search this forum there is another entry about this server US 753. When i logged on, there was a message like " Alice: straight to the moon" there were only me, Alice and Gayret on that server .

I think the discussion is not about getting killed in a fight, but rather senseless killing, as the example of this thread shows.

Who cares how often this topic came up! It only goes to show that people still have problems with it. And I agree totally with Addep. However I ll continue being a good player, because sometimes you meet people who think likewise and that is also quite rewarding. Feels good!

Yep, happened to me just now. Couldn't find the server where i pitched my tents, locked in to a different one, but had to abort due to server restart (said something about cfg change), logged in to another server and suddenly no weapons anymore, no bagpack and all my tools are gone. Ammo, food and drinks still existed, though. With my Camo Suit and bare hands I am looking now like a bad ass, looting supermartkets
