READ THIS When the stand alone comes out they will fix the alt-tab, alt-F4 and all the other things. HOW? very simple. When you go to leave the game you will have to log out of the server. you will have to wait 30 second to log out of the server. In that time you will probably stand up or sit down so you are easier to see or get shot. if you close you game with out this, then you will still be sitting/standing there for the next 30 seconds. Every type of mmo (I know dayz isn't a mmo but it still applies) has a log out timer so when people are in PVP they can't just log out when there loosing. As for the game right now, there isn't allot they can do but put in a penalty timer witch can also back fire.

The game is not meant to be realistic. To compare any game to something realistic wouldn't make scene because it wouldn't be fun. the game is meant to be authentic and not realistic, rocket said so himself,

I agree with there being to much weaponry in the game but because of the rate people are getting killed now I don't see any good reason to lower it. As for adding a little stories to the game, I agree with that. I wouldn't mind finding a little revolver on the side of the road. Nothing better then looting a old ladies corpse

This is were i'm going to poke a hole into your suggestion... sorry =\. My Favorite part about DayZ that makes it my Favorite game is no perks. I didn't die because guy was a level 80 gaming god but rather he had a gun and i didn't. The way to fix the "kill on site" in dayz is not to force people to work together but to keep them alive long enough to get to know people and meet up with them. When i first started i men't a really nice guy who helped me out but we were both killed. We never spoke again because we couldn't find each other.

All day yesterday i was getting this error from http://www.cloudflare.com/ but i had no idea. Was the website attack with a ddos and was my IP nulled? Because when i used a proxy to connect with a different IP i had no problems connecting to the website.

Just found out from a scripter I know and he said he can get other people globally banned by running the script through them.

Should i report it to the server admin so he can send to logs to the hive? Or do i just report it here with the server name and time?

In cherno 12:40 (UTC+09:30) Adelaide. ANZ 7 Just two randoms in cherno running around with god mode. I killed about 5 people but i found some guy standing on a roof looking at his inventory or something. I shot him 2 times in the head then spray about 5 in his chest, he mealy look at me and ran behind the fire station tower. His friend was camping half way up in the tower baiting people. I didn't die and i used the 3rd person to look over the wall and make sure it wasn't a delay. Don't know there names and i don't have any proof and i don't think that would get them banned anyway. I'm just warning people. PS: by the time you read this, assume you were playing on that server, they would have left

I can play private server with no problem because of the private hive. I am sure this will work if someone could just reset my character. I just need to know how to get my game id or something.

I'm not saying the cheaters did this, i'm just saying what happened. Ill try the old servers and see if its fixed. BTW, don't call cheaters "hackers" they cant hack they just know some sites that sell hacks. There just cheaters, that's all.

Getting the same problem after a script kiddie killed every one on the server.

After many hours of thought and discussion with my clan, I have come to the conclusion that this game is in serious need of contraception. Am i the only one here with a conscience, or does nobody give a shit that these zombies we are rapeing may get pregnant? Now i enjoy a little tea bagging as much as the next guy but as they say "any hole is a goal" and you got to go for the gold. pretty much I'm just saying i don't want to take responsibility for zombie babies and I don't want to have to kill your zombie babies because you lake skills in the withdrawal method.
