Why cant they get Zombies right.

They are considerably easier to lose now, but still being a new player (3 weeks), I think they are a tad too easy. Since they are so easy to ditch now, another aspect of them should be buffed. Maybe only headshots kill with anything other than explosives, or they can run inside maybe?
  2. I suck with most of the marksman rifles in game, but considering the realism aspect of this game, it poorly reflects the usefulness of extremely large bore rifles. In the real world, rifles like the AS50 are a pain in the ass to carry around, and are drastic overkill in any anti personel situation. The ammo is heavy and takes up a lot of space, and taking an accurate shot from any position but prone is A) wildly inaccurate at any signifigant range B ) painful. These rifles were designed to stop vehicles and heavily armored targets. Maybe if they tweaked the weapon's in game characteristics, it would reflect effectiveness more accurate to the real world, and you wouldn't see nearly as many people lugging anti-tank rifles to the top of the Cherno factories. .338 Lapua Magnum is about as big as the United States goes when it comes to killing humans, as anything bigger is usually huge and restrictive. In Arma, you are just as mobile with an AS50 as you are with an MP5.

Bandit skin ate my ghillie suit

Only seems to be a problem for people with more than a few murders, so I don't care.
  4. I'm in the woods west/north west of Chero and I'm down to about 4k blood. I picked up a couple blood bags before I left the city, and would be willing to trade to a transfusion. I can spare a Makarov with no ammo, a little canned food, or a transfusion. Higgs666xxx on skype.

Thanks Tenacious! Good playing with you! My beans, sir.

    DayZ Group Phoenix PMC Recruitment

Your Real Name: William Your Screen Name: (In game) RaysGoodLiquor (Skype) Higgs666xxx Were Are You From: Seattle, WA Your Age: 25 How Long Have You Been Playing Arma: About 3 weeks Did You Start Because Of DayZ: Bought it for DayZ, but I had played it casually before. Do You Have Any Recording Software: Not downloaded, but I have access. Not sure about FPS issues though. Do You Have A Skype: Listed above with my in game name Can You Be A Leader: Yes. I was in the US Marine Corps for 5 years. Actual military training has proven to be pretty valuable. 7+ hours survived on my 2nd life! How Regularly Do You Play Arma: I try to play daily, but my schedule can be kind of weird. How Well You Work With A Team (1-10): 10, but a group is only as strong as it's weakest link, and is very reliant on the guidance of a leader. Why You Would Like To Join (4 sentences or more): I more or less role play in game as if my character were me. In doing so, scavenging alone can prove difficult in major cities where bandits tend to group up. I have only found a handful of survivors that proved friendly, and it gets annoying being unable to trust almost everyone in the game that you don't play with regularly. There are also a lot of things I would like to do in the game that are much more effective in groups, like clearing bandits out of populated coastal towns, vehicle raiding, and controlling military gear spawn points.
  7. Hi all! My name is RaysGoodLiquor, and I'm starting to feel the stress of playing solo. I'm relatively new, but I've been doing my wiki homework, and 5 years in the Marine Corps, plus a lifetime of survival interest seem to have helped me out in game. I'm trying to stick to a code that I would follow if it wasn't a game, meaning I; 1) Won't attack someone unless out of self defense or last resort survival. If they are looting something I want and don't want to be friendly, I'll just move on to the next spot, unless I am on the brink of death and know their sacrifice would be my last resort of staying alive. Group members not included. 2) Help/group with anyone willing, pending they behave and don't present a clear danger to the group, at which point it is leave or die. Another last resort. 3) Share loot in a way that benefits the group over the individual. 4) Watch everyone's back, and put a hole through anyone that shoots at it. Now that I've made myself sound like a strict jerk, I am really easy going and like to have fun while playing. I co-host a radio show as a hobby, so I function well within groups that record or stream they gameplay. I have a mic, most common communication software, and a desire to progress and excel at DayZ! RaysGoodLiquor IRL veterans always welcome!

Looking for survivors (West Coast, USA)

Just a note, at the moment, I loot very slow and meticulously. I play like I was trained, and it works. If you feel like you can show me a faster way of doing things, it would be most appreciate. I've also yet to play at night. I have a couple light sources, but have yet to learn how to effectively use them without getting murdered.

    Introduce yourselves

RaysGoodLiquor, same as in game. I just started played a couple days ago, but I was in the Marine Corps for 5 years, and have shown a great interest in survival over the years, so I feel like a fish to water in the game.
