I've tried the Verify Cache method by doing the following: 1a (if applies) exit steam 1b run steam as administrator 2 Library > Arma 2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify Cache 3 receive message "1 file failed to verify..." 4 Repeat step 2 with Arma 2 OA 5 receive message "1 file failed to verify..." 6 Run Arma 2 & close, run arma 2 OA & close 7 close everything, access desired server from sixlauncher Didn't work. Servers would still tell me I had the previous version (1.16) of battleye I've tried manually installing by doing the following: 1a (if applies) exit steam 1b download Client and Server (32bit for me) here: http://www.battleye.com/download.html 2 Computer > Local Disk > Program Files > Bohemian Interactive > ArmA > Expansion > BattlEye 3 Delete & replace new Client/server dlls 4 Return to Program Files, go to Steam > steamapps > common > arma 2 > battleye 5 repeat step 3 6 Return to common, go to common > arma 2 operation arrowhead > expansion > battleye 7 repeat step 3 8 close everything, access desired server from sixlauncher Also didn't work. Servers would, yet again, tell me I had the previous version. I tried re-installing battleye from steam by doing the following: 1a (if applies) close steam 1b open steam as administrator 2 go to library > right click arma 2 > "re-install battleye anti-cheat" I receive a message that says "this game is currently unavailable. please try again at a different time". Same thing happens when trying with Arma2 OA I am at a complete loss. Please help me. EDIT: I'm running Win7 32bit. I don't know how to check what version of the game I'm running I own both Arma2 and Arma2 OA via Steam I connect via the Sixlauncher I'm hoping very much to avoid having to uninstall and reinstall because it took me a very long time to download the game (4 days) in the first place I started having these problems with the update on the 25th of June
