Lol, I didn't record that, I took a screenshot of the loading screen and played it for 10 min because loading takes forever... everyone's beginners guides start with looting... mine starts with getting past the loading screen ;)

Just used dayz commander and it did not change the values in the config files.

This boosted me from an average of 25-30FPS on normal'ish settings to 35-45fps averages on the same settings. not a whole lot, but definitely noticeable, recording with fraps drops me back down to 25-30fps rather than the 20-25fps average of before. My legs are broken, a good distance from any major town with a hospital, and I have decent loot that I don't want to lose thus I haven't logged in for a few days to make the long boring crawl to a hospital, but tonight is the night... might just suicide and try to make it back to my body before anyone else does.

I think the game should at least tell you if someone opens your pack... it would be pretty hard to not notice someone stealing a rifle from you in real life.... unless of course all the empty whiskey bottles everywhere were yours...

Still not sure what I will end up doing, because when I am not gaming I will be running VM's (usually 3 at once), compiling code on dif platforms, some minor video editing here and there also. Additionally some 3d work, mapping for CryEngine 3 and Torque 3D and maybe some 3d modeling here and there, but I am a coder so my art skills are "blah" at best and just used as concept work.

Seriously, I will Switch over to full time Linux or OSX or both before putting up with an interface geared towards making all devices (phone/tablet/pc) have the same interface.

If you were in 3rd person view that was probably your issue, 3DP is terrible for shooting while prone. if you were in FP, and there was nothing obstructing your line of fire im not sure what would cause that assuming you were close since you said you were able to check his pulse?

Yeah I usually like lots of cores for running VM's and the like. I may have to look at getting an i5 sandy bridge, just ~$50 more

There are easier ways to get unlimited ammo without having to carry around extra clothing. but rather than show everyone how to do them making the community ripe with cheaters, I will keep them to myself.

this happened to me tonight. it said I died, put me on the shore in the "wilderness" spawn, didnt ask me to choose gender etc... I alt+f4'ed havent logged back in since because I was pissed lol
