Me and three of my friends were playing on server hgpcg (US 2347) while a major ortho ( nicknamed Lurkmoor ) came with a cheat, teleported us to some hollow place and toke our gears cowardly. We made it clear on the main channel but 2 hours later and the guy's still there.. What kind of admin can allow this? We bought arma 2 and arrowhead for DayZ.. we though it was much more serious, especialy after all these months of developping. Can users as lame as Lurkmoor and others be perma ban for clearly cheating like this? And if so can they comeback cheating after making another profile in the game? Are there any sanctions at the very least? It seems we just encourage these lamers to cheat. The last four or five time we died it had nothing to do with zombies.. it's just some guy that spawns right behind us and shoot us once we got some nice gears after hours of playing. I have nothing against bandits, as long as they don't use hacks and those guys clearly did with the four of us. So are they (dev) gonna fix this? Is battleeye any good or it's just a facade? I've been kicked half a dozen times by battleeye while I never used any hack, while hackers get away for hours with hacks like this. Are there some good servers hack-proof to play in? Servers without any hacks where players can play by the rule of the book? I would love to know if these servers exist.

DayzCommander works well for me after testing, Dayz is now up to date (it can updates arma2 as well) plus you can see when (and where) your friends are online and have a nice selection of filters (like choosing the time of the day). It's a must-have application for me. A+

If manual updating is EASY with CAPS ON, why would we need guides and why wouldn't you just explain the simple way to do it? Because it's a pain and this is why updaters exists. Six Updater never worked for me as well and I'm glad I'm not the only one having so much troubles with it. Thanks for the hint LeBanishAngel I'm gonna try DayZCommander ASAP as I'm also stuck with 1.7.2.4 so far.

Ive just started with DayZ tonight.. and after more than an hour playing, avoiding zombies and searching for a gun, I get kicked from the server saying : You have been ejected by battleeye. Does this happen often? I never encountered this problem using arma2 before so I suppose it's some kind of bug with battleeye that believed I had a cheat or something?
