They cant stop the cheaters, the few hackers make new bypasses and the many scripters use those. Until its standalone on a client that isnt trusting, were all at the mercy of ronald mcdonald and whoever dropped a boat out of the sky and asked me to get in it as he was here to rescue me. i told him to f'off lol

yeah man, probably the best thing ive done on this game was get some morphine for a guy called robina i had just met at balota airfield, (he was fine when i met him but broke his legs by pushing against the wire fence) at first i thought even if i get the morphine how am i gonna find him again, so anyway he started crawling to cherno down the main road and i ran straight to the hospital/apartments quickly grabbed the supplies and pegged it back. sure enough he was crawling away down the road playing some random song down the mic. it was a cool mission. sadly about an hour later after 2 more ppl joined our team, we ended up at elektro powerstaion, zombies chased us on the roof, right next to sniper hill. Then boom 1 of us on the roof got sniped so we jumped off the roof onto the waste bins. I went and fell between the bins breaking my legs ffs lol. they bandaged me while i was knocked out i got up and as i was using morphine another got sniped, so just me n peniswrinkle left we ran for town side by side. got about 100metre and wrinkle gets sniped. im freaking out going serpentine while running for the haybales on the NW hill, (not the wisest move cos its still visible to sniper hill) but they fired about 10-15shots and i manage to get away. gutted i lost everyone but what a game. P.S if anyone i've helped can vouch for me by posting on this thread plz do, im only on this game to kill zeds and help out.

I got the same woes, using 1.7.2.4 95883, while every server is using 1.7.2.5 95883. guess ill not bother with the torrent now. all they had to do was fix the dead bodies artifacts. ffs. Edit, yay DayZ commander is DL 1.7.2.5. god knows if itll work but its progress.

i get the loading screen too, Six launcher says im running 1.7.2.4 still (idk how to get 1.7.2.5 if six updater or launcher wont do it) and Six updater says my version is 95248 and my beta is 95883. which doesnt seem right. Plus if f i verify flies for arma2OA on steam it always says 1 file is wrong and it downloads it again everytime i verify. this games to stressful when your not technical.

So i was riding my bike round cherno then on to elektro when i got teleported into cherno I'm still on the bike and every kind of vehicle is parked up around me. so i ride off (no shots), and get halfway to elektro again when this red car starts beeping up my ass. So he knocks me over, So i get in his car, we drive off for a bit. i try talking to him no response. he gets bored pretty quick, parks up spawns a gun for me and we kill zeds for a bit. then inevitably he turns on me breaks my leg, i just use morphine and ignore him. then a bit passes before he shoots me. i dont care as i die most days with alice pack, full tools and an AK so its no biggie. i just wont rise to them. Dude obviously had god mode on as he was bleeding the whole time and probably took about 30k in hits from zeds. He had no name It was only Sniper ( ). Hes probably still there so take heed.

Yeah i couldnt resist, not been in a car yet, and not fired an M4 CCO SD. i coulda logged but well, pride comes before a fall. I just got my bike back stocked up at desertede Berezino and i've now got an AK kobra from Balota, its all in my tent. good times.

On consoles you've got class3 + 4 by Undeadlabs coming out on Xbox, and The longest day or something on PS3. Class 4 is the persistent online world one which looks pretty good if a little over stylized (but then its by a lead guy from world of warcraft). The only real hardcore game your ever gonna get will be on PC. Marketing says no to real hardcore games on consoles, but then people don't know what they want till it's there. I'm 100% behind whatever Rocket does, cos in my experience real games are made by visionaries like Rod Gilbert of Monkey Island fame, or Hideo Kojima (metal gear solid). I'm hoping now that BI are behind it, the finished product wont be sanitized for a broader audience.

I'm stoked as a goat for this. If there was someway to pre-order so Rocket has more funds to make the game better i would. Although to warrant a purchase we need content, maybe not story-wise but definitely in the way you interact with people/zeds. I want the zeds to have a realtime animation engine so they push off walls and bump into each other. Something better than just memory heavy mo-cap scenes and ragdolls. Also i'm gonna miss the clunky interface once it's gone. So much tension in dropping your main weapon to the floor then removing hatchet from toolbelt and finally reloading before you can hit.

yeah i was out running through the forest solo, when a boat drops out the sky, these inbred yanks get on the mic and say "Get in the boat were here to rescue you", i realised it was hackers so i took no notice and gave the boat a wide berth. cos ive seen hackers blow stuff up after spawning it. I laugh and said "how the hell is a boat gonna rescue me". next i hear another yankie doo who sounded too excited for his own good call me "Faggot" (pork and fat balls, pretty tasty yknow). I didnt rise to it but before i could get away, a dude pops out the boat says "too late" and shoots me. So Hackers, If thats how you get your kicks in life. your gonna go far.

Well id tell you where i found 4 tents full of crashed heli gear, like FAL ASW, AS50, M4A1 CCO SD GPS rangefinders NVGs. But all i can say is it was in the largest of a ruined set of buildings northish of Elecktro, west of Vyshnoye. I noticed it had tree cover in a NW line to get to Stary so i guessed these were bandit tents. I took the AS50 for a bit, it was garbage, then i tried the FAL ASW with the night vision scope, also garbage in daytime. I left them my Remington with flashlight id found at Balota airfield. oh yeah this was on US 265. happy looting

I found an AS50 in some dudes tent, he had 2 FAL night vision snipers in there 3 NVGs and 5 ghillie suits so he wouldnt miss it. tried it on some zeds, the noise agrod too much so dropped it for a Hatchet.

Forget the 12yr old hackers that should be out climbing trees. The current worst thing about this game is the running (28 days later style) infected. George Romero made zeds, not Danny Boyle.
