Sounds good, and not just cos it hides my hearing monitor. You'll get everyone on red blood running round in a blind panic. All thats well and good, but once they equip a ghillie or camo, how the hell do you know if they are bandit or survivor. I've personally tossed my ghillie for this reason and will not shoot anyone but bandit skins from now on. 22500 humanity and rising

I thought this might be about digging bases and trenches, which would require a development intensive deformation model for the whole map. but yeah red faction did it. it just looked a bit blocky

Those markers feel like cheating, i don't use them or the map much. I'd love to roll the map out on the floor and never have to break away from the main game screen.

No, but id like more emotes to convey your intentions, and give visual squad instructions without comms. Even a white flag on a stick would be nice, or putting your helmet on a stick to fool people from a trench

I'll only shoot bandit skins on sight, if they're at range i'll scope them out first to see if they have backup. The annoying thing is the skins you find in game, how do i tell if a player in one of those is bandit or not. I've dumped my ghillie now so ppl know i'm a hero. it's so flawed. Even today a yank ghillie guy appeared in the west elektro firestation cos i was killing zeds and he said friendly, then 2mins later shot me. I mean, i'm in elecktro, would i be here with anything of worth? Your the guy in the ghillie with a massive sniper rifle. Seriously, wake up to yourselves ppl. Not mad just mystified.

This is kinda my best and worst luck together. Im mooching through the hills on the far west, checking those car locations, i go up a sapling covered hill and as i get to the top, Hallelujah a bus is there, wait is that a tractor behind it, sure is and omg there's about 8 tents dotted around with 4 in a circle. One has an m107 and about 7 mags. I'm like grab that jump in the bus, bus was green but under a quarter fuel. i drive it down the hill and took it down a valley still on the west side to stash it and go look for jerry cans. I park up miles from anywhere, jump out, equip ghillie suit and hide under a tree while i roll a smoke. Not more than 2mins later i'm suddenly dead. meh lol. Anyway new life i loot 1 drink and run all the way back. Bus and body gone, i just raid the tents again and take a DMR with 9 mags and another ghillie. If your not a bandit and it was your stuff i'd happily give it back and would even join your group as tailend charlie or supply runner.

Talking about 3rd party programs, some people think you cant be stopped using them. I used to play an MMO were people were banned for using windower, costume changes, and packet sniffing software (nasa bots etc). I've been online since BBS days when i was about 10 year old. and was coding at 5 on an atari400. plus you use the word troll, i don't live under a bridge, sunlight doesn't turn me to stone, and im not gonna bother finding out what you mean by it, as your bound to tell me anyway.

1. How do you get their names on a veteran server, as playing on regular with nameplates is just gonna get you found and shot more by cheap players. 2. Always shoot them, not every scripter has god mode. 3. Until they add X was killed by X (at least until standalone alpha) we are screwed.

Just got killed right after logging in at vysota hill, went back and a bandit guy appeared (teleported) and shot me, he came over and i looted his backpack got AS50 TSW before dying. Went back again just now, probably moved server, as i taunted him on comms for a bit then looted my dead body and logged off. Some serious muppets on this game.

Well i got put in the debug zone, waited a bit nothing happened then i noticed some players had weapons and packs, so i looted there packs (nothing special just AK mags and that), dragged one dead guy about a bit then re-logged as nothing was happening still. When i came back i was on the beach with all the items i'd looted from the other guys packs.. I doubt the geared guys had ran all that way north from the edge of the map then gone afk. Very strange indeed.

Put it in a full or 11 slots backpack to erase it, you cant be global banned for using it (rocket confirmed this on Hackers thread), but you can be server banned by the admin.

I'm not saying i'm better in any way, i'm saying there's an age limit on games for a reason. In this day and age especially, we should try and preserve our children's childhoods as much as we can. The game industry knows that sex and violence sells and it's mature games are being played by consumers way under the specified age limit, yet they don't care as it's making them money. Why cant they only accept the users credit card and not the parent or guardians for a subscription or something. pre-paid cards would need proof of age to purchase. Not enough emphasis is put on the fact these games are not for kids and are actually damaging to them. I'll also add that kids have yet to grow a conscience and will blow your truck up, flatten your tents, teleport you into the sky with sadistic glee. is that what you want? So if i do hear a child on this game, bandit or not i'm gonna shoot them outright just so they play less. It's my civic duty after all.
