Sweaty (DayZ)

By 'hardcore' I mean a server where you spawn with nothing but a bandage, a box of painkillers and a flashlight; bloodsuckers are enabled and so are EVRs with at least 10 regular players. I don't care what the server's difficulty level is. If you know of a server like this, I'd really appreciate it if you'd mention it in this topic, please.

This is a great server. I've been playing here for a looooooooooooooong time (took a break recently tho). It barely has any hackers and the active is regularly online. (Attila)

The, first time? Well... It was in Elektro, on a low-populated server. I was trying to gear up and all of a sudden, this ghilie guy starts shooting at me with his revolver even tho I had like nothing(lol). He shot me a couple of times and since I didn't have nothing to lose, I went for the fire station by the north of Elektro. I quickly started checking the rooms: ground floor, nothing, first floor, nothing, second floor, nothing, third floor, BINGO! An AKM. Since I still knew he was down there just waiting for me to come down, I came down spreading hot lead into his dumb skull. After that murder I want to Cherno and shot like 3 other people in the back as well. C:

I feel really lucky that I've only ran into a couple of hackers since I started playing Dayz.

I was playing DayZ today, making my way to the NW airfield and a guy started running after me with a silenced M9. I started shooting him with my Winchester 1866 and I hit him like 30 times, he wasn't bleeding or injured, then he opened fire at me and i got killed. A few hours later I was playing on another server with 47 people on it. I had an AKS 47 Cobra. I met a guy with a ghillie suit on, I sprayed my 7 mags in his torso but he didn't even bleed. Can anyone tell me why is this happening? (I'm pretty sure I wasn't lagging)

So they were just hackers :S

Perhaps I was lagging but I didn't see the red or yellow broken chain symbol.

Hello guys, Whenever I try to join a server the game says: 'Bad version, server rejected connection' (not always tho). Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my game?

This might sound stupid, but where do i put the extracted files of the latest arma 2 oa patch? (i'm afraid of experiencing with files since i messed up gta san andreas)

FU*K it's so annoying I can't get into any servers

I just realised I can update both Arma 2 OA and DayZ using DayZ Commander, this might solve this issue.

Hello guys, As you can all se i'm a noob in DayZ. I cannot murder people... of course i would if i would see them first. My problem is that players always see me first and then shoot me while I turn my back to them. Can anyone suggest anything I could do? (I have a good gear most of the time, a lot of food and drinks so at least that's not a problem :D)

Hello everyone, I have ordered a computer a couple of days ago, and it has a Gefoce Gt 640 graphics card. Can anyone tell me if I can play the game? I would also like to know what resolution should I be playing with that graphics card. (I hope I posted this in the right place :o)
