I've also noticed the gender screen has disappeared for me as well. Though so far all my updates were done manually. Any chance that could be causing the problem?

I know this thread has been pretty dead, but is the new "change" to the website serious or was it a hacker attack or something? I mean I never saw any signs of the server falling apart and then suddenly that ragequit change of the site as well as the server going down happened.

The hill above Balota airfield is also fairly populated on 20-25 people servers. Just approach it from north and check the pine trees.

I think there are a few main hive servers that run an extra anti-hack software that bans anyone who has any weapon not in the list for DayZ instantly. Today I watched a few people getting kicked/banned for things from golden revolver all the way to termal AS50.

I mainly shoot to loot as I already got my hands on a sniper rifle so I don't fall into tight situations often. Favourite map is Chernarus.

Some will alt+f4 even after being killed instantly, also robbing you of your well earned loot. In fact happened to me just now, pulled a 10m distance M24 headshot at a Ghilli snipering Balota. Blood splatter, flies, +1 on the kill counter, but no body. And I really wanted a map/gps/nvg.

Favourite look would be the AKS-74 Kobra, but sadly it lacks the punch. So I'd say either AKM or M24.

No looting? But then what reason would I have to kill people? I could simply hide in the forest, loot places nobody goes to and never really experience any thrill?

Simple - I play this game to gather gear, hunt other people to fill in the gaps of gear I don't have and overall have dangerous lead filled fun. So death to me isn't anything bad. I just go to the nearest barn, grab a Lee Enfield and get hunting, climbing back up on the food chain. Rise and repeat.

I've been teleported only once and I met a friendly hacker once as well. And that's for two whole weeks on 15-35 player servers. I must be lucky?

Here's how humanity works: If you humanity is below 2500, every 10-15 minutes or maybe less you gain 150 humanity until you hit 2500. To get it above 2500 you gotta heal people. To lower it you gotta shoot people, but I'm sure most of you are familiar with that. Also you don't need to kill someone to lose humanity. Every hit you land on a player decreases your humanity.

I haven't read all the pages about this, but I've noticed that atleast the Freeside guys are usually operating on American servers. So My question is - will this Coalition be active around European servers as well?

Funny exact same thing happened when my "group" (we can't say we're a clan) fought some guys in Elektro a week or two back. My friend scores a headshot with the M14 AIM at a guy with an AS50, no problem let's Alt+F4 to avoid that emberassing death. Today I cleanly headshotted this failed sniper at the hill North-East from Elektro, no problem let's Alt+F4 to avoid the death and loss of gear. Yesterday I start taking shots with my MP5 at a bandit running across the field - same fucking story. It feels as if only the survivors can take it like a man and just die. Kinda sad, really.
