Well... if you desperately wanna play it now then sure, and the mil sim that sim that ArmA actually is pretty good. If you want to play DayZ now and like the thought of a Tactical Shooter, buy ArmA and mod it up. If however you're not that desperate, don't buy it now. Especially if you don't fancy ArmA 2.

People shooting unarmed people, why?

One day I logged in and 5 seconds I say two guys (Bandits) with another unarmed player. Guy: are youfriendly, are you fri- Bandit's: bang bang THe guy dies there infront of my eyes. WIthout any other choice I shoot one bandit in the face, he dies, the other shoot's me twice I shoot some rounds into him before that. THey both bleed to death. -
Wait till you die of hunger/thirst.

Hi, first of all I know there's a similar thread below, but I don't have any gear. I logged into a server and bamn, debug wilderness. I am NOT going to run out because I could be any distance away from the world and there's no way of telling the direction and trusting it. I don't have any gear, except for the standard stuff, and have tried running with no affect. If anyone with the power to do so could reset my character/tele him to the beach I would be very grateful! Try to run little or nothing in the background while playing, put your setting to lower presets.

If you want a nice little starting gun try the barns, and red-brick houses for lee enfields. (not an expert either) stores have weps too. But as the guys above said, airstrips, hospitals, fire stations, schools and millitary bases.

I just found a lee enfield in a barn, walked down the stairs, fell from 3 STEPS and had a broken bone, WTF. At least make these cure over time because I ain't crawling to a hospital.

Bros, let's all chill. This is a bug, do not accuse people of being server hoppers! I had it too! I just found a jackpot of handguns, but my ass was about to explode. So I disconnected (remaining in the lobby) so I wouldn't die while I took a shit. Lost my gun! >:(
