Believe it or not Benson not everyone has a computer that can record or stream while they play, also many people lack the know-how to do so. If you have multiple people pointing to the same place chances are it's for a reason. -
There's NOT supposed to be enough loot for everyone... that's the point... This isn't random weekend trip to Walmart, it's the fucking zombie apocalypse and a single bullet or bandage is the difference between life and death...

There's already a reason for them bro, your temp drops when you're running around out in the rain and at night time. as your temp drops you can get infection which causes a number of various detrimental effects, like a lower maximum blood count, shaking, etc. To fix this you have to warm yourself up using a fire, which can get you much unwanted attention, or use heat packs, and if infected antibiotics.

There's a reason it's not done this way. Zombies and items are spawned dynamically because it would be exponentially more demanding on the server to track items and zombies across the entire map instead of only where they are needed at the time. It's just not realistic for them to do that. In a perfect world sure, but he'd have to zone off the map and you'd end up loading into new areas load balanced across a number of various servers.

Some function to form a group/unit/team would be nice. Have ability to identify each other easier and given a GPS or map or some item to see where each other is when not in line of site, maybe a group voice chat function enabled by finding comms equipment? I think a lot of the community wants a more solid way to play as a cohesive unit (both blues and bandits would benefit from this)

New way of getting blood! ( Player to Player Transfusion)

Could even have it set up so you can harvest blood for later use, ie make blood bags. Have a transfusion / donor kit that would function similar to a canteen. Fill it up when you're topped up and doing fine, then drain it later when you really need it. -

No, you'd just use your magic communicator called "a voice" or maybe the ultra high tech futuristic device "the short wave radio", aka the "walkie talkie" everyone got when they were 8 yrs old might still be working, unless zombies are on the lurch for batteries all of a sudden and they're all rendered useless. As for a bandit skin? It would be called "an unfamiliar face," because if you don't recognize the person you're probably going to be just as likely to shoot them as you are to let them get the chance to blast you in the back as soon as you turn around. And it sure as hell wouldn't be based upon how many people the dude's killed, because for all you know he's killed 100 people, or none, but this may well be the day he decides to start, cause he's just a little too hungry today. -
I've lived in one of those pitch black areas, on a clear night you can drive down the highway w/o headlights, yet i can't see 5 feet in front of me in DayZ with zero cloud cover and a sky full of stars ;/

Sixth sense humans have? What kind of nick at night rainbow bright hello kitty universe do you live in? The people you'd least expect in this world are often times the ones who have the most blood on their hands, and sure as hell comparing murderous bandits to combat vets is about the most retarded thing i've ever heard. They have entirely different situations and motivations that dictate their behaviors. Bottom line is that if people were really in a situation like this, aside from people they know personally they're going to shoot first and ask questions later. Feel free to be one of the other people who wants to make friends with randoms. Personally I'd rather survive, as this is a zombie apocalypse survival game. You wanna make friends online go back to facebook. Watch less tv. -

There are plenty of servers that are low or next to empty because the admin will auto-kick anyone he doesnt know even though the rules for getting a server expressly prohibit kicking people for ANY reason aside from hacking/exploiting or harassment in the way of RL threats etc. Also password protecting a server is expressly prohibited, and yet they do nothing about all the locked servers. -

Isn't that pretty much how it would be in real life? You think in a real zombie apocalypse I'm going to have an indicator that pops up if I'm a killer? No, you're going to assume everyone you come across is dangerous and not to be trusted... -

I like it, but it should be lethal as well, kind of ridiculous that i can't club a zombie with the but of a ten pound rifle, instead i have to drop it to the ground so i can bust out my axe or crowbar because theres no way to cycle between a melee weapon and a rifle for some ass-tastic reason. It could be implemented in a number of ways - It does a stun on the first hit, and on the second hit it starts doing damage, perhaps enough to kill a zombie or a man in a single hit, because let's face it. if you're sitting there unable to move and I wanna bash your head in with a rifle stock it's probably not going to take me a second swing to finish you off... Or alternately the damage it does could be determined by a "charging" mechanic. The longer you hold the button before you release it the more force you swing with and thus the more damage you deal when you land a blow. Similarly you should be able to pistol-whip a person with a side-arm or smack them with a flashlight. You could have the flashlight attack be a stun and the other two dealing damage, 1/3 X dmg with the pistol, and X dmg with a rifle. Or the flashlight could deal damage as well, then we might actually have a way to kill the zombie that ends up spawning right on top of you before you can even get to a loot spawn to HOPE theres actually something there to defend yourself with...

You ever seen a hatchet? They aren't exactly something you wield with two hands, that's why it's called a hatchet and not a freaking full blown axe, because it's a sawed off tiny-ass version of the same, intended to be used in ONE HAND, kind of like oh, i dunno, a pistol? Thus the suggestion of putting it in the secondary slot instead of the rifle slot... go figure right?

More bikes indeed, this has gotta be the only bizarre alter reality in which there's only one or two freaking bicycles in the entire damned country at a time. Generally chances are almost every household owns at least one bike, so chances are there would probably be at least one left in each town considering it's pretty obvious not EVERYONE managed to escape (as evidenced by the bloodthirsty bags of rotting flesh chasing me all over the place.

I've never noticed any benefit whatsoever from use of painkillers in this game. I don't even bother picking them up anymore. The only thing that seems to help is just getting the blood count up.

Very long injection over time? As someone who has used auto injectors IRL I can tell you they are pretty much the opposite of that... the only benefit is that it's quick acting, which is the entire point.

We can have a bandage and morphine injectors but not a freaking splint? Ohnoes, stick+bandage=splint. Crazy how that works.

Because I've lived all over the place including small towns, and on a clear night the moon and stars provide plenty of ambient light to see around you... you might want to get your eyes checked, Also if you're the one who can't see w/o a street light it sounds more to me like you're the city kid? -

Meme competition is a terrible idea (no offense.) Any good meme just happens organically, if you try to force it you end up looking like that creepy old guy at the bar that thinks he's still cool and won't quit hitting on the waitress. How about a zombie slaughter contest, who can kill the most zombies in X time frame? Who can kill the most zombies with X weapon in X time frame? Or a scavenger hunt? Whoever finds the most beans wins? Just my 2 cents. Hunting event? GMs run around all crazy like decked out with awesome weapons but is wearing like a fluorescent orange hunting vest to make him stick out. First X people to track down and kill a GM win? -Sin Edit: NW airfield death-match sounds like pure chaos... I LOVE IT!
