I heard they were being DDoSed earlier ? I'm not really sure what is going on but I'm going to try again tomorrow I guess.

Myself and a bunch of friends are currently trying to play. We are rubber banding like crazy and they keep losing their characters as well. There is a problem with the servers at the moment I believe.

I dont understand why there is no AUTO RUN KEY!!!

They should implement auto pilot. If you have a map you select where you want your character to go then you can go do productive stuff like browse the internet while the game plays for you! -
People are looking for other ways to entertain themselves. Getting gear is fairly easy once you've played a bit. So interaction with other players keeps people entertained. Easily place to find players, the coast.

The answer is simple, no. Only players with the standalone can play with other players on the standalone.

I see. However I have made blood bags before. In the text it says it can only last for 1 day without refrigeration. Does this apply? Such as I make a blood bag I cannot just keep it in my inventory until I need it?

Is this for real? There are blood types now? How do you even check that lol

Apparently when you have sufficient energy and water your character will start regenerating blood and then health.

There are also server owners who use ESP to know where all vehicles and tents are. Server owners can cheat too and find your stuff without this spectator tool. I think it's a great and useful tool when used properly. But with most good things, come the bad. Just depends who is using it. -

They are open to everyone for the most part. Some have other requirements. But a private hive just means they are not on the main hive. Its a seperate character for their server, meaning duping is less rampant and kids cannot log into another server, gear up then hop onto the server. Some have more vehicles, usually side chats enabled to promote a community. Overall they're much better than regular servers. You can look into the private hive part of the forum and read up about them a bit if you prefer. -

It's up to you. Honestly you could find a nice private server to play on and have a good time. There are a bunch of private servers that have active admins taking care of the scripters and such. Although the standalone they said they are trying to have the alpha out to the public by the end of this year. I've heard speculation of December. -

What do we expect from DayZ Standalone?

Alot of interesting ideas, hopefully some of them are implemented. I was curious about a weighted loot system. Such as military weapons such as the AS50 would slow your movement down extremely, especially if you are carrying a second primary in your backpack such as an LMG. I do not want to get too crazy with it but I feel it would make the advantage of sniper rifles a little more balanced because in reality you cannot run through the woods with a 5r0cal sniper rifle as fast as someone carrying an SMG. -

I have no clue man, anything skecthy like that just makes me want to log off immediately. One time I was in a building and I heard someone over voice chat, then a rabbit jumped through the wall and turned to look at me so I logged off. Scripters are everywhere!

Damaged vehicle, but repair-actions list is green

I believe once the vehicle is repaired the first time then you have to just know what needs to be repaired. For example if a wheel needs to be replaced just look around the vehicle and see which of the 4 needs to be fixed.
