EVE is also a full on MMO made by a company, and has been out for a while already so they can change things and fix bugs. DayZ is made by Rocket and is still in its Alpha stages. Big difference.

Because of duping for one thing. Also, because items transfer from person to person while new items spawn, so eventually there is an overload of those items because there are very few of these items actually lost. The number of those items in circulation will just keep rising.

Using "immersion" to cover the fact you more likely than not are just complaining about them because of gameplay. There are multiple factors to put in that makes .50s not that unrealistic, such as Chernarus is a post-soviet state with obvious military capacity, along with the military coming in to destroy the zombie threat.

When I read the title for the thread I thought it was a suggestion thread for adding beers into the game. On a serious note, people who exploit mechanics shouldn`t really be playing, it is like allowing a basketball player to travel endlessly and still play, or allow that guy with the full auto paintball gun into the match set up only with semi-auto pistols. As much fun as you may be having, it ruins it for many others.

Starting area would be a killzone if all players spawned with pistols. I agree with quoted poster.

There was that time were I spent an entire afternoon pinned down hiding behind a shed by a sniper. That was amusing.
