So after hours of parts collecting and refuelling we finally fixed the military mi-17, when I got in and out I poped up inside it looked to the left and was insta-killed my body sunk and I lost my prized radio. So after a long run back to devils castle we took off. Now the problem with the choper which makes it absolutely useless is to unload people you have to hover 3m off the ground and get them to eject, then you land hop out and you will pop up inside it then do not move a muscle, abort and log back in you will then be outside it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE MI-17 IT'S BUGGED. In the bugs list for the upcoming updated it says they cannot replicate this bug. It's not that hard get a mi-17 and get in and out you will then die if you move. TLDR; It's broken keep away or die! (Sorry for poor grams posted from my phone) Rant complete

I have flown mi-17/8's extensively in arma and never encountered this. It's a dayz bug.

When you log into a server and in the background you see a image of Novy Sobor but some times you see a forest, what is the grid reference or location of that forest. Many thanks Conthefruiter

You completely misread what I posted.

I played on 3 servers last night where i was running along then all of a sudden ash like particle started floating around like snow, then the sky darkened and massive winds came. It was like an emmision in S.T.A.L.K.E.R or dust storm in morrowind. Is this a hack or was it added never seen it on the current update before. Many thanks Connor

Also when I was not inside when the heavy wind was going it was like getting hit by flash bangs.

In dayz everybody just sprints every where, but I have an idea that will fix it unless Rocket implemets a stamina/endurance system. Anyway the idea is when you sprint (double tap "w") there is a small chance like X% that every metre you run you could trip over, the engine plays the "geting shot in the back while running" animation and you fall. Then ontop of that there is a further X% that when you fall you will fracture your leg. This would be a good mechanic becuase it stops everyone sprinting every where and is sort of like a last resort, when getting chased by zombies or shot at and would make some really nearve racking experiances. Vehicles are a bigger issue, sucks when you fix up a UAZ and next time you log in its gone back at its spawn, same with 2 atv's and a tractor.

This would be a horrible idea because as someone said above, every single weapon in the world has to have info about it on it somewhere (ussaly barrel) example: lee enfield mk4 .303 I have never seen a gun without its model, calibre and make on the side somewhere.

There using arma 3 engine. Geeez you should know this if you check the forums hourly.

I've got this mod it's cool and all but I don't like it. It's difficult to use the turbo key and there are many combinations to remember I just don't see it in dayz, ever. And I hope it's never implemented .

well we were teleported to this island so we thought what the hell lets blow up some bases. Also were scared of losing our gear swiming back
