I only have a sniper rifle at the moment, yeah I had a double barrel shot-gun but I like the zoom on the rifle of course. I could've blasted someone today but didn't. I just said "Hey Jason I could've blasted you twice already but didn't, I would appreciate the same kind of respect." Sure enough I'm still alive but i can see that player killing me sometimes after announcing in chat that I have seen him he obviously knows I'm close etc.. Dont' just assume everyone with a sniper is an asshole.

If possible I'd like to help become a medic / help protect medics. I would die for this cause certainly. I have a ventrillo server my steam name is Hellman. Vent info is voice36.sanjose.hypernia.com port = 3974 pass = NewZealand or New Zealand with caps as noted. (Space or no space not sure) anyway, I'll work on trying to "prove" to someone but I have to get medical supplies first. I do really want to help protect and rescue people as much as I can. I agree thank you for some replies. That becoming an armed medic idea sounds cool lol. I definitely need some friends. Being alone and just getting wasted by random people repeatedly is stupid I'll work on finding a group.

Hey guys, I'm relatively new to Dayz...I'm not as good as I want to be in the game but here's my experience so far. Usually I spawn and get hit by a zombie and have to waste my first bandage to stop bleeding. That's pretty annoying but whatever, I've learned to deal with it. Then one time I was unarmed just checking out a building and someone wasted me with a SMG. That was real pro I must say lol. Now I started a guy and I got lucky and found a sniper rifle and 4 packs of ammo for it. But all I'm faced with now it like either sniping people back or what do I do? What is the big goal of going up north? I don't really want to just waste random people and this isn't left 4 dead where you really want to snipe zombies so what is the real point? what keeps you going? One other thing let's say my one real life friend that plays is way the F up north and I'm on the coast. There needs to be a teleport option or something so that you can join your friends faster. Finding a server and then walking 75 miles is no fun. This isn't a QQ rant I'm just really honestly looking for opinions, stories and guidance. Thanks for your time.
