Perhaps the most difficult part of this game is learning how to recognize where you are when you are spawned. Many rely on the game telling you...it's written in the lower right when you spawn. However, in your case I'm assuming it read Wilderness. Either way, you have to learn how to find yourself on the map. Map-> http://dayzdb.com/map Pay attention to the topography of the map. A very good thing to know is CLOUD MOVEMENT. The clouds always travel directly EAST. Should you run the direction of the clouds, eventually you will reach the coastline. Hopefully you will encounter a town before that happens. Also note, most towns and cities have a sign on the main road in and out of them telling you their name. Good luck!

It wasn't Statyk. Were Statyk a hacker he never would have had to fire a weapon at you. What happened was, a hacker joined the server firing a script which ported/killed you and likely this Statyk guy also. Get used to this happening. It's a popular hack and it's fairly rampant right now.

There is a hack going around which tweaks a players ID to match that of another random player. This allows the hacker to hack freely with no fear of being banned because the player actually being banned is some random person who's ID was used. Unfortunately, a fix for this isn't likely to happen anytime soon. BattleEye is being hit hard by these reports and requests for rescinding global bans. All you can do is go to the BattleEye site and create a ticket reporting what you know. Then wait patiently and monitor the forums for more information.

Contact the Admin and politely request his/her help. It's entirely up to the Admin whether or not you're going to be screwed over by the hacker.

The bullet drop is a function of the physics engine within Arma2. All servers using Arma2 engine have bullet drop and other 'realistic' bullet effects.

Sadly, there is a limit of 1 helicopter per server. As there were 2 in your example, one of them was spawned by a script kiddie/hacker. Unless there is direct evidence that you spawned the helicopter...driving one isn't an offense to be banned for. Were I you, I would contact the Admin and request a ban reversal. I would also post to the appropriate forum using the appropriate format to report Admin abuse.

Excuse me, I feel it is important to help educate you about some important facts, 1917Admin. First and most important, you may not ban the player for having a second account. If the player has purchased a second CD key for Arma2 he is perfectly free to play the game on either account. You have no right to ban him for using another account to bypass a ban you shouldn't have placed on him. Now for the second and perhaps most important thing. You claim to have banned the player for having 'hacked weapons'. It is very possible your vehicles were destroyed via a hack. Now you are stuck waiting for them to respawn. Should you wish to hasten their resetting, restart the DayZ mission. Not the server, the Mission. Doing so will reset your vehicles. It will also clear away tents and other placeables. It's just a complete DayZ reset.

Who is this "They" you refer to? The developers of DayZ can give absolutely zero fucks about how many people are buying servers to host their mod.

If you are playing legit, it's a good idea to group up and farm for gear. I call it farming some call it loot or spawn recycling. Setup in Berezino for example (as it has two supermarkets): take everything from the supermarket and dump it into one big pile outside the door once clear of everything run to other supermarket and do the same by the time you've cleared the 2nd supermarket the first would be respawned continue until everyone has a map, matches, binoculars tents and whatever else is necessary do this again at either the military tents in Berezino or the NE Airfield for weapons and a stockpile of ammo When setting up tents for a camp, try to find a dense section of trees to place them don't put any critical items into the tents, they will be discovered maybe assign certain tasks to people, such as have one carrying mostly medical supplies and have another doing mostly hunting to have a stockpile of cooked meat etc enjoy the game and survive as long as you can

Considering we are not the server Admins, it would be very difficult for any of us to answer your question. In other words, contact the server Admins and ask them. Should they issue a ban, however, they would be violating rules of conduct and should be reported for such.

Should you find a vehicle spawned by a script kiddie/hacker type, you may take and use it with no punishment for such. It is the same case with weapons or skins or whatever. As long as you're not the one using hacks or scripts to spawn things, you're free to use those left behind from people who have.
