Six Launcher does not support 1.7.2.5 as it was a weekend patch Rocket threw together. Consider it a pre-release. When it is 'stable' or rather when Rocket is happy with the code, he will have Six Launcher release the patch to the public. Of course the pre-release code is available to the public already as probably 70% of servers are now using it. So, you have the option of using another launcher, DayCommander I think is the name of one which seems popular. Or you can manually download the files and install them then use the Arma2:OA multiplayer options. ---edit--- Just noticed you said you already tried manual installation. The reason this failed is, again Six Launcher doesn't support 1.7.2.5 so when you launched it, it overwrote the files with version 1.7.2.4

Set the game's .exe to high priority via the task manager. That seems to do the trick.

I once fell three steps and broke my leg in the barn west of Kozlovka. All my friends had gone to sleep already so I wasn't getting any help. It being past midnight already, I figured it would be safe to crawl to Cherno Hospital. Took me a very long time to get there...but I got there. Used all my ammo on the glass and it didn't break. Thought I was SOL, but remembered I had an axe. Smashed the glass down and patched myself up. Felt damn good about myself. Then I got sniped. Who's laying there at 4am waiting for some sucker to raid the hopsital?!

You can then press / to type a global server wide message. You may also use Capslock to speak to the players. I believe the Rcon or BERcon also have commands but am unfamiliar with how they work.

If your blood is positive, sit idle and watch yourself starve to death. It make take a while but you don't have any other option. Let yourself die. See if you can respawn afterwards.

So, when you respawn you respawn in the debug area? I notice you call it "debug forest" and that sounds wrong. The Debug areas of the map have no trees nor even grass growing. They are flat and utterly barren areas...with the occasional animal spawned. Either way, if you're spawning in the debug area of the map where players go when killed...run east and a bit north. It may take 20m but you'll eventually get into the map again. Good luck! ---edit--- In the event you don't know which way is east. The clouds always travel towards the east. Spend some time watching the clouds and follow their movement!

It's a fine weapon for the nighttime hunter. Otherwise it's useless. And LOUD. Firing it will pull an entire city of zombies!

Can they locate players? No, they cannot. (edit - smash_AU is correct, they can pull locations from the logs) A server Admin literally has the ability to do 3 things. Do an announcement or use voice over Global chat. Kick a player. Ban a player from their server. That is it. If Admin appear to be able to locate players, move players (teleport) and or have the ability to locate active vehicles...then they are hacking. Also, servers are limited to 1 server each. If there are two on your server one is hacked in. You should go to the Server Reporting forum... --- By the way, are you sure it's a public server and not a private hive server? Most private hive servers have admin who script/hack as a means to...admin their servers.

Zombies have been tweaked dramatically since I first started playing. They used to run faster then you! Anyway, you can lose them fairly easily through trees and bushes now a days. So if you have a train/trail of them, sprint through pushes and thick trees!

Yeah, look at the time on the left then the coordinates on the right-hand side. He was dropping over 20+ bear traps a second and sprinting at the same time. It isn't possible to do this without some sort of script or hack.

Chances are very good a hacker obtained the Rcon password and made himself Admin, put out a stupid announcement then started banning people. This belongs in cheat reporting I'd say. Hopefully someone contacted the Admin who runs the server and he'll sort it out soon.
