    From a quick glance at Dayz monitor, this server is offline only to be put online when the Admin, Cort, wants to play. He's using it as a private playground. As this thread is posted to Ban Appeals and as Cort doesn't appear to be cooperating at all, the only option available is to go to Vilayer. So, I suggest you go to Vilayer, the server host, and either enter their Teamspeak to report the server activities...or fill out a ticket for your complaint.

    The Devs are busy. Plus frightened to come here anymore as there are a gaggle of fools who clog the forums with stupidity directed at Rocket every time he does post here. The Moderators are just like you are as a server admin. They do what they can as time allows but this isn't their job or anything. Relax. Go drink some cool-aid.

    Yes. Download one of the many Rcons out there. Go to battleye and download their BERcon. They locked out in-game control due to hackers getting the password and making themselves Admin.

    It isn't a banned weapon. Besides, if the Admin were banning for illegal weapons, only the friend would be banned. I logged into the server to see if the Admin gives an email to contact him and he doesn't. But the server messages do state they will ban you even if they think you are cheating.

    Either go to the battleye webpage and download the update yourself, or continue to join a server until it finally updates on it's own.

    I'd like to know what the big deal is with someone carrying one. Why is it considered a cheat? There are weapons using the same ammo of equal strength as well as weapons with heat sensor scopes.

    You're probably using Six Launcher or Dayz Commander. Go through the game's multiplayer menu and use filter.

    Make sure you're using the new Scripts.txt file. Should be available from your server host.

    Do you disallow the use of Tents on your server? Surely you know they recreate their inventory every restart, effectively making them duplication machines. Is that not an exploit you'd ban for?

    It's already in the game. Sadly, it isn't used in the mod. However, the mod does have anti armor weapons, such as the rocket launcher. It's totally useless because the mod doesn't use armor. But it is in the game.

    Tents only save their contents from the first Hive write. The current Hive is borked. They are moving it from Host Attitude to Vilayer someday soon and fixing the issues with it. (This was announced by Vilayer, dunno if it's a PR thing or if it's actually true). Anyway, if you setup a tent, pack it with gear then save it all within a couple of minutes (hopefully before a hive write) the contents will save fine.

    Tents work but only before the first hive save. Setup a tent, pack it with goods, save it...all within a couple of minutes (and hopefully before a hive write) and it'll save fine.

    Screen shots of what? I have the impression you think they are hackers because they had "illegal" weapons. But that isn't the case at all. A player can be carrying a "illegal" weapon and not be a hacker. You can only ban for evidence found in the server logs.

    Spamming Setup Tent is the only way to make one setup. You were not banned for this. Admin cannot monitor mouse clicks or anything. Getting kicked for clicking the Server Option is an automated thing with the newer Battleye script system. It too isn't a reason to get banned. Try using the P key to check the players on the server. I hope the server Admin frequents these forums as I'm very curious about why he banned you.

    If you have health, you're probably not dead. Load in and go AFK for a while. See if you starve to death. If you're blood goes negative and it still hasn't actually killed you, try respawning a bunch of times.

    Next time get their names and report them in the cheat reporting forum. Engaging them was stupid.

    Mouse over the marking and press your delete key. Yes, you can remove other people's marks.

    Yes, Tents do work. Though once it's saved to the Hive, the save on a tent is disabled. For whatever reason. I doubt it's intended. Anyway, you have a limited window to make it work. Literally, you have to setup a tent, pack it with stuff, then save in in under a few minutes time. Because once the tent and contents are saved to the Hive, they become permanent.
