  1. So I had no things in my motorcycle but still the goggles were destroyed when I tried to store them in it.. Apparently it has space for a jerry can, but not a pair of nv goggles :( Is this a known bug? Couldn't find any info on this.
  2. This is a bug in the latest version I think.
  3. day1 - fixed up an ural --> disappeared after server restart day2 - fixed up an uaz --> disappeared after server restart day3 - fixed up an uaz, found an ural, found a motorcycle --> disappeared after server restart :(
  4. The only problem I have with sniperrifles is that there is to god damn much of them. Zombie apocalypse and everyone is running around with .50 cal sniper rifles, nightvision and ghillie suits.. Yeah right. More realism please. Also they need to make spotting people in the distance harder, especially when in the bushes! And thermal has to go, or make it consume extreme amounts of battery power.
  5. Last night me and some friends rebuilt an Ural truck and parked it deep in the forest. When I logged on this morning it was gone, but at the exact same position where we parked it there was now a bicycle. So I took the bike and traveled to where the Ural spawns and there it was, reset, all the repairs we did and our gear .. gone. So I'm guessing either someone found it, stole it, blew it the hell up, etc. Or server glitched and reset the vehicle, leaving a bike there instead... :P What do you think guys? (yes, we saved the vehicle before logging)
  6. Damn, I wish someone stole it instead. Now I'm not sure if we gonna bother fixing a new one, only to have the same happen. We spent 10 hours locating and fixing that thing :D

  9. God, not that elite/boss crap please. Oh god, please no :P However, if you are talking about cooperation to build an outpost or something grand, then that would be a nice addition.
  10. Uhmm, are you sure you had enough room in the bag for a weapon? Or else it bugs out and disappears.

    Thoughts on removing NVG's?

    -Increase nighttime brightness a bit(moon always?). -Flashlight can be mounted on all weapons. -Have NVG's use batteries fast. Batteries should be a rare spawn. -Decrease nvg effectiveness(perhaps make it blurry)

    The true downfall of DayZ - If not resolved.

    Hackers are not just a problem of DayZ. I stopped playing most FPS's cause of cheating bastards. But DayZ is so addicting I have to play anyway, even with hacking aholes :P Only good hacker is a dead hacker if you ask me. Someone should track them down IRL and beat the shit out of them.

    This will be nearly impossible to implement :D Perhaps you could have the battleEye look for voice programs on the users computer, and if any are running in the background kick the player from server? :P

    There is enough of a benefit just grouping already(strength in numbers), definitely not a good idea to boost it even more(also it doesn't sound very realistic.) So, sorry didn't like the idea.

    Only spawnkilling should have a negative impact, imho. They should instead focus on means for players to survive or evade bandit gangs(harder to hit with snipe, harder to spot people in terrain, no zombies spawn at players location only, etc).
  16. I kinda felt it ruined immersion a bit when I learned that Zombies only spawn in areas where players are. After I learned this I always zoom in on towns before going there, if there are no zombies that means no players.. the thrill is gone really.. Also this is heavily abused by bandits to locate victims it seems. This need to change. Zombies should spawn randomly whether players are around or not. To avoid bogging down the server, they should simply reduce the chance of zombies in general. As of now there are always zombies spawning when you get close to buildings, so predictable and reptitive. Villages without zombies or just a handful stragglers would be a nice change. Also they can make it so extra zombies spawn in a random area, to simulate a wandering horde. I don't know if this is something they plan to change in the upcoming patches, but I really think it needs to be changed. Anything but the current 'spawn around players' system will be an improvement.
  17. Yes it's a problem. Either have the same amount of max zombies, just spread out more, OR.. How bout the engine not process the zombies in areas where no people are? What I mean is the game has set that 30 zombies are currently roaming the area of Sosnovka, but since no player are within distance to see the town, then the zombies will not process and use system resources. ..Hmm that is kinda like todays system actually, only better :P
