You should consider getting an Intel cpu, like i5 or at least something like i3 - 3220. ( and no I'm not intel fanboy ) There's nothing wrong with micro atx m.board but if you plan on adding secondary gfx later, you may want to keep it in mind. ( perhaps mini atx would be better purely due to space / layout ? ) I would personally stay away from seagate and would recommend WD caviar, preferably caviar blue. The HD 7770 is alright but for the price of a new, you could get used 7870 or similar. 7870 would literally crush the 7770. As a side note - no need for 650w psu ( + that aria something looks dodgy..imo ? ) and I'd recommend corsair cx 450 or 500W instead. It would be maybe easier if you could just tell us your budget :) Edit - contradictory to what others said; you do NOT need more than 4Gb of ram. This is something that can be added later and is very easy 30 sec job but when funds allow. You will NOT gain a single FPS by going 8Gb if the rest of the PC is not balanced.

The pathfinding works great so far, they'll just need to teach them where are walls and stuff but I'd say zeds going to take a while to tweak. We need zombies to be nasty bastards to be enjoyable :P

Also just to clarify; one doesn't get to pick his or her role. It would have to be the server to randomly assign these professions. It could be as not every single player has a specialized profession and be just a new spawn.

No doctor would have the same ingame skills as anybody else. Only on top of it he would have the ability to diagnose sick players with much better accuracy and probability than a mechanic. He would be the one to recommend the pills to get you up and he would be the one to provide a blood transfusion without infecting you any further and he would do it for trading purposes or other benefits. I mean everybody can take painkillers when they've got a flu but would it really help? I understand where you coming from but I believe this is one of those skills that should be the same for everybody, simply left to players mouse and aim capabilities. Soldiers say, would have lasted longer without water and food and in cold environment. They could carry bit more weight as an example...

I naturally agree with this suggestion as I've hinted at similar concept. I am not the best at putting my thoughts on paper but I still believe this is the most subtle, natural and realistic idea. I see where you're coming from but as OP said, there is nothing unrealistic about this. Just as IRL peoples life's aren't equal either. I stand by this suggestion as it does't put anyone at massive disadvantage or advantage if implemented and tested carefully / successfully. There are still tons of placeholders and game being in alpha the stage means its been released to us as sneak peak and how it's looking. Alpha is not supposed to be playable or enjoyable experience, yet it's perfectly enjoyable still. If justifying spending and if it's worth the money paid, that can be answered no sooner than when the game is officially released, easily a year or more form now.

Again, I'd like to see military gear randomly spread across the whole map, not just few buildings but I have my doubts this is going to happen. I wish all the weapons would have to be searched for in remote houses as well remote parts of the map but gear like NV's ballistic vests scopes would have the propability of spawning in military area.

Your hands would be sore enough after emptying its mag let alone holding two of these by one hand. I quite like proper military guns, it would be just better if they were hard to get hold of. Hunting shotguns and colt pistols as civi guns is alright but I'd like to have proper alternatives even if very rare
