The only thing you may be able to upgrade in a laptop is the CPU but one needs more than a rough idea and how to. GPU' are pretty much always soldered on the board. Upgrading the ram is simple but wont give you nearly no boost in games. You 'll need to spend twice as much on gaming laptop to get close to a entry gaming desktop

Shame is that most people just would not care till they are shown the difference but, let's see what is the community stance Let's be honest, sounds are very important factor in games and more so in games like dayz. I am sure they are far from finished but BI has been simply unable to deliver yet half decent sounds and arma 3 is not an exception. ( As a matter of fact Dayz probably has better sounds already..IMO ) Modders have more time and especially, passion and is why I believe if team rocket would hire Lord jarhead ( or other sound modder ) I bet we would be in for a treat. So, should team rocket consider hiring Lord jarhead, the author of JSRS or other modder?

I'm sure the 2Gb is not dedicated and will take it of off your RAM. That doesn't matter really though as you have enough ram. It'll be playable just fine although the 650 is not exactly gaming graphic card

Its completely understandable that sounds are not the priority for now and that's fine but knowing BI, they would leave us with sub par audio. Again, happy to learn there is a new recruit to take care of sounds. Also, yes the poll was made to merely reflect the importance of audio :)

Yeah the RV engine is quite ''special'' on this matter. The FX chips just lag behind with instructions per cycle, that's where intel excel and is why AMD chips tend to go to their knees near towns. I hope EA burns to the ground its way too long overdue already if I'm honest. Dice should prevail though.

It was a nightmare figuring out which server were PH and which were official in the mod. Hives and or official servers needs to be CLEARLY labeled.

Just wondering have you clean installed the SSD / OS each time you swapped the system? How have you ensured that all drivers were up2date?
