^^ You do have a point, i just throught Lingor was a brand new map. only saw it pop up on Dayz commander yesterday. did not realise it had been out a while already The feeling i got after finding the crate was the same as finding an old worn porno mag stashed in the woods as a child. Not much fun when you have full gear and no need to explore new buildings or areas.. will most likely just grab a map next time, i hate not having a map...

tbh id rather be called a dick couple of hours than gear up normally only to be shot by someone using the same weapon. At least i was on a lvling playing field whilst i had this gear,. I also think the admin had bigger fish to fry, i came across a filed and it had every vechile in the game spawned, boats and shit in the middle of a field, half were blown up and the others badly damaged Not like it matters now anyway, when i log in later it will be a fresh respawn, and we all know the most fun part of the game is the first 30 mins trying to find a weapon other than an axe :o)

So i downloaded Lingor island via Dayz commander yesterday, Hopped on for my first run around. after about 10 mins of blindly running and takeing in this amazing map i stuble across a car. Yayyyy Looking in tha back of the car and its stocked with gear. I panic and drive off, as i am looking for a place to hide the car and loot i see a medical box on the floor outside a hut. tHis was in a little place called Aguado. i open the box and oh my lorrrrrrd Hacker heaven, Everything you could possibly spawn in this game was in this medical crete. spent about 10 mins looking through all the weapons, Now here is where my dilema started. I had only been in the game literally 10 mins and had gone from 1 bandage, 1 painkiller and my fists to literally becomming the new Universal solider, What to do what to do, do i take the hacked weapons or leave and carry on my merry way.. The server was full, 40/50 people playing so i reasoned that i can not be the only person that has stumbled upon this crete. It took me another 15 mins to decide what guns to grab, fully kitted myself out and started on my merry way to Calamar. No more than 1 min down the road i see anther medical box sitting by the water, i decamp from car and run over. Poooof same gear as before.. I tried shooting the box, blowing it up with charges (but they wernt called satchel charges on this map) but the box would not disapear.. Fast forward 5 mins and i am running up a hill to over look Calamar, Manged to snipe 4 Bandits before i crawled over an invisible object broke all my bones, started to bleed, got knocked unconscious and bled to death.. Normally i would have been p155ed but as i was using so much hacked gear i was actually ok about it.. My gear set up from medical crete was, AS50 TSW (with nato rounds) G36C SD pdw sd (uzi type thing,) Gillie, and soilder clothing, (soilder clothing looks much better than a gillie, but with the terrain and grass in the new map the gillie make you proper invisible,) nv, rf, i did also pick up this Laser target device but did not know whjat it was for and it took the spot of my NVs so put it back, So what would you have done? taken the gear or moved on. My rule is if i find hacked gear i will only use it on the server i find until i die, i will not try different servers with hacked gear Lingor is a good map from what i have seen, i just hope what i found was a one off and i can load it up tonight and run about like a headless chicken and gear up the proper way

Have been playing on this server for a while, Was a real nice server, People actually were friendly when you made it known you were, Ran in to a guy names DIMMA (sp) A few times and he was real helpful. gave out gear and didnt kill on site.. Last night though was a joke, them pesky hackers, was running to NE airfield to look for loots, was 4 of us, then from right behind us 2 people let off about 50 flares at once, was crazy the sky just lit up like a nuke. then all at the same time all 3 of us dead (1 managed to combat log ) At the same time this was happening we had 2 people killed at excatly the same time on the Skalinsky island. Dude just appeard shot, and then teleported back to the main land.. Dammm you,.,. Also.. What happened to all the tents on this server? Sunday evening there was at least 4 massive camps along the west debug field, they had been there for a loooong time,.(had been looting when killed for weeks.) Now they are all gone..!!

I was only able to take 1 gun, I had only recently spwaned so had the basic back pack which holds a fart and little else.

:o) would never drop the NV goggles, the Nightscope on the gun is good but in the dark its hard to run around when you are fully scoped,

Have only been playing a week and have not styed alive more than 3 hours. Over the weekend i was Dora the Explora when i came across a tent, (my first tent find) I was so scared when i saw it and my heart was racing as i crept up to it with only a hatchet in hand.. I knew from where i was and the way the tent had tried to be hidden i was going to hit the jackpot There was also a set of NV goggles in there that i took, Now i am a stalking machine, Night servers are pretty funny now i can see perfectly.. That L85A2 AWS is a beast, Night vision and heat scope..

Hi, please accept my apologies if this is in the wrong section, I have only been playing 3 days, i am from the UK and only really like to play on servers that are during the day. I have been playing on servers names ATLANTA (prefixed by diff numbers., My problem was i was playing last night and found a map.. (god send) i started to run towards the lower airfield towards the bottom left of the map. as i was getting closer i could see a couple of Hangers then as i got closer that part of my screen (directly in front of me) started to mess up. If i pressed alt and looked to the sides whilst running it was fine but i just could not look at the airfield. as i backed up enough to be able to see it again it looked like there was some sort of black ICE STRUCTURE covering it..(think of supermans home in that superman film with the 3 other baddies in black) sorry that is the only way i can describe it.. the closer i got to that airfield the less and less i could see due to graphics messing up.. but as soon as i turned 180degress away from the airfield everything was perfectly clear again, I relogged and tried a couple other ATLANTA servers but was the same on all of them? anyone have any ideas why i cant acess this airfield? is is a hack the server managers have in place or something? normally i would not mind but i was thinking of running to the north airfield to see what goodies i could get but dont wanna spend all that time and get there for this to happen.. It is also like when you run under one of the cranes on the coast, your screen gets like a big shadow.. i really hope people can understand what i am banging on about, i will take screen shots tonight if still the same.
