I still don't like it, it's extremely unrealistic for a game that is built on realism. -
Yeah, temperature should be a variable that fluctuates up and down, not one that just goes down no matter what the weather is like. Are we all supposed to have HIV? Running should also increase temperature, and there should be a random chance that you get sick, not by being in the elements (you can't really CATCH a cold). Weather gear is a must (Raincoats, etc), and put random wood spawns in the forest. EDIT: How is my temperature fluctuating bellow 90? Shouldn't I be dead?

Yeah, don't swim to fill your cantine. If you HAVE to swim, drop your stuff on the ground, swim into the water, fill, and then get your stuff again.

Adjusting the system is a much better solution. Getting rid of the persistence would cause massive server-wide issues and on top of that GIANT wait times. -
If you run out of food or water you start to lose health after your hunger and thirst meters blink for a bit. Do not eat or drink until your meters are blinking red (even if they're really dark red).

That's pretty lame. My clan has been working hard trying to get everybody NVGs and good weapons, while others just exploit the fuck out the game. Oh well, shit happens. -
The problem is that if he locked most of the servers people would be flocking to the other servers and that would cause those servers to crash (correct me if I'm wrong).

I know a lot of the map and all of the areas. However, I also play with a group which I believe increases the playability of the game. We make goals for ourselves and once we've completed a goal we find a next goal. It's true that sooner or later we will have completed most of our goals, but even if so new content will be created soon enough and we'll be back out.

The point wasn't to say that it's a fact that he's unfunny objectively, but rather why I (and others) see that try-hard, regurgitated humor, as distasteful. Why must you hate on what others find funny? What people find funny is usually a good reference as to who they are. So, for example, if somebody thinks that killing a dog is funny, they're fucked up. If somebody thinks that saying "penis" is funny, they're usually either 14 or extremely immature. It's indicative of who they are. Now about spouting the memes and the "good sirs", I don't really care on an individual level. But when I get onto a server and that's a large portion of what I see in chat it becomes spam. It's like if I were to get in game right now and start saying the same joke over and over again in 5 minute increments. It's not something that really ruins the game for me or is even really a big deal to me personally, but Mr.Delicious (mmm so delicious) has a point (which is my point).

A buddy of mine had his life saved today by a tree as a guy with a m16 took pot shots at him. Meanwhile, another buddy of ours flanked him with his silenced M4 and put him down. Moral of the story: Trees are your friends.

It's because that shit is extremely unfunny. You're not funny or witty if you can regurgitate a bunch of random pop-references and internet memes. After a while, when so many people do it, it becomes mindless spam.

A Solution to the Problem of Bandit Identification

I think being able to identify bandits and friendlies in the future is extremely helpful. People make the argument "in the real world you wouldn't be able to tell". Well, in the real world you would have people just killing everybody they meet either. The current system is broken, yes, but I think somebody later should be implemented. -
I saw this happen myself. Then the administrator, when called out for his behavior, proceeded by insulting the people telling him that it's unfair.

If the engine didn't make the zombies glitch around and zigzag I really wouldn't have a problem with the speeds of the zombies. However, the engine DOES do that, and therefor they should be slowed down.

It's not post-processing. All you have to do is turn your 3D resolution to your regular monitor resolution.

Yeah, it's not really that much different. Only major differences are that they spawn a lot quicker and their agro ranges seem to be a bit broken. Other than that, it's just fine.
