How is this an issue? The admin rents the server from Vilayer and should be able to have a choice at what they feel like playing for their money. If you are concerned about your home server moving back and forth between Dayz and Lingor Island it should be all the more reason to get your own server to call home.

Never had any problems with this hosting company, any questions I have had they answered within the hour and upon asking for lingor to be added to my current server it was done in about 20 minutes. Working good, the only issue was the time wasn't setting correctly so I opened a ticket and 2 minutes later got a response and it was corrected. Overall it has been a great experience with them, I can't speak for everyone but these guys have done a fantastic job for me. The fact that they set up a Lingor hive is awesome as well, It saved me from losing some gear when I played the other day on someone else's server to test lingor and see if it was worth having and I was shocked when my stuff carried over.

As the admin on this server there is nothing I can do, every vehicle I have had on my server has vanished do to dayz problems on the hive that have been going on with every server. It was annoying since it took a week for vehicles to show up in the first place but I have come to terms with it at this point. I have lost a ton of gear because of this but it's an alpha so stuff like this happens. Admins have pretty much no ability to do anything aside from kick/ban players which I don't bother with since it just starts up a bunch of nasty threads about corrupt admins. My van turned into a white off road and my ural turned into a bike on a reset and on the next reset they were back to their normal spawning points so it became annoying and we eventually stopped repairing them and lost interest in them after fixing them for it to happen numerous times. Sorry about your stuff but there is nothing I can do about it. DayZ has claimed it back as it's own. I don't play on the server anymore to be honest and I haven't decided to keep it running or not at this point due to a lack of interest in the game until the standalone is released. So long story short: I wish I could help but there is honestly nothing I can do even as an admin to respawn your stuff where it once was.

I currently pay for my server and the only thing I do is 8 hour restarts on it, I don't play on it anymore I just let whoever wants to play on the server do so. The reason I do this is because until there is more security in place the only thing that would happen if I banned someone who was not guilty of anything I would have a storm of hate I don't really need or want. I find it to be less of a headache this way, as I have not seen any admin hatred on my server on this site at all I suppose it's working out well. I will continue to do it this way unless anything changes in the near future which would make being a server admin less of a target for hate. Im fine running a server for the people who want to play DayZ to enjoy but I still hope they bring a stop to all the nonsense admins who play on their servers have to deal with almost daily.

I ordered on August 7th and still have no server, I can't even see my order on the site anymore but the money I sent out via paypal is gone from my account. Im not overly concerned about it with all the hacking that is going on but I would love some sort of courtesy email saying they were having issues getting servers up an running and giving me a status update on mine.

This game is not one any of my friends I play FPS with would enjoy so I roll solo, I find it easier to loot towns more stealthy but I know I have been killed numerous time where with a group I wouldn't have. While I would love a group to roll with I don't trust anyone in this game at this moment.
