Unfortunately this is quite easy to get around... Hopefully SA will have a "Ban MAC address" or "Ban Account" setup. I'm hoping for the latter. Ie. Buy SA, setup online account ( like MMOs) and all data is saved against your account :)

I guess it is all situational. Again you don't need a rifle, why are you taking out a small group at range? For fun? I don't see the poi t in wasting ammunition and attracting attention by using loud rounds at long range. Sy you need to get in to a shop, you scout it from afar. See there's a few zombies, I'd still take the back entrance and only kill what's necessary. You could take both, hunting rifle and an SMG and just ditch your rifle/other heavy supplies before you make your run. Bullpup isn't really a counter argument. Even a Steyr with its regular barrel would be too long to use indoors. (Better off with a sidearm actually!) Sure you could use a carbine variant, but even those aren't much shorter than an m4. The argument for the AK is great, considering you can make the barrel, pin and most internals with basic household goods makes it a suitable weapon!! Though noisy and a bit inaccurate you get the reliability! Sorry for my typing its on a phone so I CBF fixing it.

Not sure why people are choosing rifles either (unless for counter banditry.) But assuming its a zombie apocalypse only, rifles make way too much noise and are generally useless indoors(cqc) even carbine variants would be difficult to use. "Just use a silencer" argument is invalid as they can limit the round types you can use the gun, if you use a silencer and a regular round its still going to make a fkn loud crack of the projectile reaching supersonic speeds. "OK just use subsonic then" - good luck finding them and not to mention their penetration and velocity are appalling. You couldn't fire one accurately past 100m (and that's pushing it) let alone penetrate!!! Your best bet would be a crossbow or bow (recoverable ammo and extremely quite) and if you needed a gun an SMG, HK or mp5. I'd go mp5 due to the commonness of 9mm rounds. Theres no point carrying long range weapons as zombies aren't a threat!

Depends on the server. Also I agree its awesome!!! Except this TWS I got from following an unarmed new spawn around (I was new spawn also) for 5mins. Only for him to script in a TWS, waste 2 clips trying To kill me, all while I pick up a g17 and pop a cap in his face. I think it was well deserved! But I wouldn't miss it.

Had fun with the streamer on our server yesterday! Unfortunately with that came a load of hackers that were swiftly dealt with :)

I agree, I enjoy those issues and they SHOULD stay :) I'm praying to god that they don't turn this into another fluffy bunny MMO where all your hopes and dreams are made in a 15min gaming session. I WANT to lose everything to a bandit, I WANT to bleed out in the middle of nowhere with a broken leg!!! This is what makes the game as good as it is.

Completely different systems that target completely different games and engines. It is ALOT more complicated than that.. Its like saying "why can't a heavy duty minding truck wheel fit on my bike."

Agreed I think a safe zone with a social structure (not governed by players) would ruin the game.

I'm no genius and I only read the first paragraph, also my scripting and coding skills are basic... But it wouldn't be hard to connect the alt+f4 and timing out timers... both could leave the character in game for 30seconds..

Lol this happens ALL THE TIME. On at least 3 separate occasions I've killed admins chain looting at NWAF on lowish pop US servers. Only to either be kicked or have the server rebooted on me. Bunch of basement rejects trying to get easy loot. Hope your deaths were an inconvenience:) Love, Brad
