Something similar to this would be if the corpses of the people you killed became zombies. However, I don't there isn't an authentic explanation for making them spawn into a zombie.

There could be a variety of different fish you catch that provide a different amount of 'meat' just like with hunting. I think it's a great idea and would like to see something like this in the standalone

new work in progress looks great, I'd love to see something like this implemented in the standalone game.

yeah I'm not too sure how I'd feel trading with a random player that could just ambush me at any given time with any number of players. I'm sure there could be a system set up however of building reputation with your trades...

I think that if they removed them, even temporarily it would help tremendously, however I believe the DayZ team has stated that there is a fix for this in the next patch. Which should* be coming right around the corner.

those are bugs within the alpha that I'm sure the mods are already very very aware of. The is also a suggestions forum for suggestions to be implemented into the game, not necessarily with a time frame involved. That being said, they do seem to have a lot on their plate in regards to the alpha mod :)

Good idea, there could even be different types of coats, say a civilian jacket or a camo jacket. I think that this would be implemented better however when rocket decides to add more seasons into the game, whether it be in this iteration or the standalone.

Currently the official forums are not really providing this and as a result the community of most servers aren't as close as they could be. I took it upon myself to create forums that provide that experience for those who want it. By creating a sub-forum for each server it makes it easier for communication between the general player base and the server admins. By doing this there is no need to search for countless threads on the server you frequent. If this is something you think your server would benefit from, contact your admin and get them to send me a message here or where I will be hosting their forum at SurviveDayZ.com Also, any other suggestions or ideas would be great to hear! Well its a forum, so if you wanted to create a sticky or announcement within the sub-forum of your server then yes, it is possible to post all of those things. As for the live stats of each server, I will look into the live stats and see if its possible for us to implement as many players would find this extremely helpful.

Yeah some do, but not all of them do. Also, not all servers are hosted by clans, many are hosted by individuals. I figure if I can provide the grounds for the server admins to interact with their player base more efficiently it will hopefully create a closer community on their servers! The benefit being easy navigation and a closer DayZ community feel than if they were to just post their server information here.

yeah it doesn't take very long, I'm surprised it hasn't been done already. Why I went ahead and did it myself :)

I believe Rocket said somewhere that he wanted to add more skins in the game to help distinguish those in your group from those who are not-I'm not sure where the source is, if I find it I will post it here. The small backpack isn't useless... yeah you can't carry as much stuff in it but it does make your silhouette much much smaller when prone on the ground.

Yeah that WOULD be preferable. unfortunately at this time it's not happening so I took it upon myself to do something about it. :) I don't expect every server admin to want to do this, but for the ones that do I think it could be a successful alternative!
