It is highly possible that there will be some new vehicle designs in the standalone, I would also like to see something like this implemented into the mod :)

I think a lot of the sounds will probably get a makeover for the standalone coming up. Those kind of time resources (right now anyway) are probably better spent on new mechanics of the game.

It is in the game again as of right now, I'm unaware of how the skin affects ghillie suits. I have one on so I will tell you once I am able to grab the patch -

To be fair alpha's are for designing and testing new game mechanics, where as beta's are generally where they try to fix bugs. This game/mod is maybe an exception because of the amount of play-testers there are that feel that they are just players... -

Hey guys, I'm putting together a forum (and eventually website) for DayZ players, like myself and I have the forum up and running now and was wondering if there would be interest from any of the server admins for me to host a specific sub-forum for their server(s) & communities. If this is something you'd be interested in, you can either pm myself or post a thread on the server forum request on www.survivedayz.com Hopefully this would give you more of a connection with the player base that is playing on your server that you are hosting! pretty sure you would just puke your brains out. adding this to the game has no benefit.

it should be player defined factions, not pre-built into the game... If I want to turn on someone I should be able to do that, without warning. if...

I think the option to have multiple choices for maps would be the best route for this :)

Its unknown what they will use for the server format at this time for the standalone. It may be the same or it could change.

I agree with most of your points apart from the 'skills' and possibly the military AI. Really great suggestions overall and lets hope the get implemented!

Dogs as Detectors of Humanity

This is a great idea! the dogs would be able to smell it on other players maybe within a certain radius and have a way to warn you, maybe bark or point or something. This fits within the authenticity of what DayZ is trying to accomplish as well! -

Well they could make different 'modes' where you could respawn with your stuff or w/e, but I think that takes a lot of the charm of what DayZ is away and how it works. -

I think things like player bounties he wants the players to create their own in game system. for e.g. post something on the forums and offer a reward. I think things like this may be implemented more easily when the actual site is up for the standalone. -
Bring back respawn until hacking is taken care of

In his last interview I believe Rocket said that he was making it so the respawn button is going to be working properly -

LOL non-lethal weapons would be a great addition to this, especially stun-guns/tazers! I can see it now, tazing someone to incapacitate them and drag them around somewhere and hold them hostage! -
I think this is maybe more of a limitation of the arma 2 engine? if not, then yeah that would be nice to be able to make it an area effect noise!
