Just bumping this thread for discussion as I have recently been thinking about tear gas in particular. I'm bored of guns and we need more variety of non-lethal weapons, ofcourse then the gas mask would have a function in the game (could add more eg: ones that only cover your nose/mouth) Did some investigation and came across this wiki : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-lethal_weapon There are others like rubber rounds an beanbags for shottie... and don't forget smoke Soome quick ideas: Scent-based weapons - induce vomiting also stays on stays on your clothes unless you change em... maybe lingers in the place it was shot so anyone who goes there later also gets "infected" Pepper spray - blurry screen, but if you run you become unconsious, due to heavy breathing Tear gas - very blurry screen Psychochemical - moving "drunk" screen (not entirely accurate but laughter as in with cannibalism? ) Sleep gas- unconscious (maybe after like 3 mins, so you could possibly find a place to hide) If more than one were to be added it would also be viable to add a launcher ▼ Under-barrel attachment for rifle, can be used on its own too

Agreed this isn't quake, I love having a lot of weapons to chose from, but it depends on the game. Its almost the same as with the Witcher series, where you can only have 2 swords and an additional weapon. At first I thought man I really want 10 different weapons to carry, but then I ended loving the fact that there is a limit on the weapons you can carry. Its unrealistic and gamey something DayZ is trying hard not replicate. I think it it adds more to the game experience, in DayZ its about the consequences associated with using different weapons... It creates balance and tension. The game wouldn't have the same feel as it does currently if you were equipped to faceroll every situation thrown at you. What they do need to work on though... is the use of handguns inside protector cases inside a backpack ... hand guns (and things you use from your hotbar) should be placed in your jacket, pants or assault vest.

Hey dude, I had this exact problem. Turns out it was my R9 290 (Powercolor) fucking out... No idea why or what caused it. I too couldn't understand, because my computer was kinda new so I was sure it was game side. It drove me insane! Iirc there are to places you have to check and set resolution (aswell as your aspect ratio) one is in User interface and the other is video settings? Can someone confirm this, I don't feel like opening dayz to check :P

Once you see one zombie get axed or shot in the head you've pretty much seen them all and it gets boring pretty fast. I enjoyed the 2 zombies falling off the pier @ 6:00 though XD I would have liked to see some funny/interesting/nerve wracking player interactions, or something where you're actively trying to achieve ingame, but just zombie slaying is meh. Its boring fighting them in-game let alone watching 9 mins of it. Good luck with your future vids! (no sarcasm, genuinely sincere)

Thats just it... no one really starves to death, and I dont just mean now with the fucked up loot spawn... even in 0.49 and before food was never a problem The cannibalism, is not justified... Id love to have it in game, but it has to be thought out properly not just put in just for the sake of having it

I was one of the people who was excited about this but the fact that itis now actually in ... I don't know, I agree, Its just asking for bad press Its too early The fact that there is so much food and how easy it is to hunt and fish, I don't really see the point of cannibalism right now. It doesn't add anything to the game there is no depth to it Id also like to see some negative effects, or eg: you can only eat human flesh when you are starving "status"

Since when do M4s spawn in church and since when does M4 spawn with dual mags and bayonet attached?... Ive never seen that at least, ALSO only green hiking bags... pretty sure the engine would have a mix of colours it they were legit spawns
