Yeah, we tried to do this with a bus, and we fucked up the bus, and destroyed the heli, with me inside of it.

It seems that most people feel this way, and it makes me sad that the helicopter has the stigma of being near-exclusive to hackers.

Our chopper got stuck up against a tree, so my friends thought it would be a good idea to try to take out the tree. with a bus. I'm sitting pretty in the helo, and the bus comes at me, 60+KMPH, and then, contact. Everything, my screen, the vehicle's status, goes red. I fly 20 meters in the air while in an exploding helicopter. I survive the explosion, only to bleed out with all my friends standing by and watching. Not a bandit story, but this literally just happened, and i just had to post this right now. -

They provide my group with a way to at least deter, and bottleneck entry into our base and key areas. Also, they can be taken down with a toolbox, so quit bitching. -

I see a few flaws in your story: #1: You didn't specify a server, location, time of day, or anything relevant to the environment, leaving much to speculation and little to go off of. #2: Server admins are not capable of teleporting, in any way, shape or form. #3: Server admins cannot provide or issue global bans. Global bans are automatically issued by BattlEye upon detecting malicious scripts being used by the player. Take all of this into account, and you can say, with a fairly reasonable degree of certainty that OP is full of bullshit, much like his swiss-cheese story. TL;DR Suck less, cry more, little hacker. -

Contrary to this entire thread, my FPS has increased significantly since 1.7.2.4, from ~25FPS in the country and 15+ in the cities, to about 60 in the country and 40 in cities. WinXP Professional Radeon HD 4600 2gb of ram Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2200 -
I'd like to see more vehicles added to DayZ

I don't feel that increasing the number of vehicles would be of much help, unless the variety was also increased. I wouldn't mind having a Mi-8 HIP as a transport helicopter, or maybe a couple SUV type vehicles. -

Just so the admins know, unless you can prove that the person spawned the gun themselves, you CANNOT ban them, even if they kill you with it. -
TBH, BattleEye is a fairly substandard system. It could learn a thing or two from VAC.

Your install may be partially damaged, and be missing a texture file. If the server checks for the texture file, and you come up blank for it, you'll be kicked. You may want to try reinstalling DayZ, or even Arma II
