I've been playing DayZ since the mod came out, was a hero on the mod and still only kill anyone who shoots at me first. You get killed a lot being friendly but also have some good interactions along the way. After all not to hard to re gear after losing everything... and heyy you never know that trigger happy bandit might of needed your gear more, although i would of given him anything he needed if he'd of asked.

Ok so i've been playing DayZ for over a month now and not once have i heard someone on a headset or seen chat in the direct communications side bar. Is this normal as every time i watch a youtube video of DayZ i can hear people talking constantly when in a city. So is there a fix for this or is it just that no one talks anymore??

I agree i would like a manual install for takistan too as i coundn't care less about dayz commander.

Ok so every time i log in I'm back at the coast still have all my gear just in the same spot every single time. I was heading for Stary Sober logged out to go get something eat come back and bam back at the coast again... anyone know how to fix this??

At the moment i have an M4A1 CCO SD with around 12 mags, an AS50 With 6 NATO mags, Coyote Backpack, NVG's. Range Finder, GPS, M9 SD with around 5 mags. 3 Morphine, 4 antibiotics, 3 bloodbags and a Ghillie. Also the basic tools and an extra ghillie in my backpack. So whats your loadout???

OMG i got stuck in a rock yesterday too i logged in and was inside a rock luckily i managed to free myself after around 5 minutes of vaulting.

Nice, My character got killed by a rocket launcher the other week on a clan server. all of the city's were barbed wired off couldn't even enter them then a heli flew over and saw me and i tried to hide in a bush but they blew me up xD

Well the only problems that will happen are tents don't save properly. All your gear and vehicles will still be there. But some servers have the problem where on 2.5 when they restart a server all the vehicles go back to their original spawn location.

Do you ever read posts on the forum?? loads of people get banned for picking up hacked weapons even though battle eye says it won't ban. This can most likely be disputed with them though as there rules state otherwise. I've read 3 posts already today of people being banned for picking up hacked weapons of dead hackers.

Yes its hacked and someone posted a thread on this like 2 mins ago so before setting up a new one please use the search bar. Also i'd drop that weapon lot of global bans for people using hacked weapons these days even if they didn't spawn it in.

I think it should be reintroduced to. All people have done is turned to teamspeak and skype and so on for communication so the realism still isn't there either way. I would like to see it back in. communicating with others would improve the gaming experience.

Why pick up a hacked weapon bound to happen lately. Even though battle eye says it doesn't ban people for it they have been lately seen a lot of these on the forum lately. If they did it by mistake you'll have to take it up with battle eye support.

LOL same thing was done to me the other day when i was with a friend in the middle of a field. I was like please stop gonna get shot by a sniper any second. My friend was just laughing his ass off at me.

1. i never use a sniper. 2. i'm friendly only killed 2 people in the 2 months i've been playing cause they shot at me first. 3. learn the facts before making assumptions.
