Re-spawn is allowed if your legs are broke.

Biggest bunch of bull I've read... I must of read the word bug about 50 times.. look at it this way if you didn't die that way something else would of killed you. I died yesterday, had a ghille suit awesome sniper and a reasonable handgun. i was running up a mountain got to a really steep point and ended up sliding down and getting crushed between two rocks instantly taking me to -28600 blood. i then re-spawned and headed back to my body to retrieve my gear. Only to find i couldn't reach it as i'd slid into a corner that was impossible to get to. i run round the mountain looking for a way down to my body and my legs sink in the floor and break... i'm like ok i can crawl to my body and get it to a place i can come back to before re-spawning and has i crawl up the mountain a couple of meters away from my body i start to slide again this time i hit the cliff edge and it catapults me down the mountain again killing me instantly. At this point i'm like ok screw my gear it happens and i carry on with my DayZ adventure.... Deaths should be taken on the chin it happens to everyone all the time. Posting it in the forum ain't going to bring your gear back and i'm pretty sure the rant didn't make you feel better.

This is a dumb idea... there is a re-spawn button if your legs broke. Also i think they'd notice you looted their stuff so what would be the point of them staying alive?? Also another player could easily kill them as you can just vault over barbed wire like it was a fence... I really don't know why barbed wire is in the game when you can jump over it. Not to mention just hopping servers while their trapped to crawl away. This idea just won't work what so ever...

It doesn't seem to be normal i've had zero eye and hearing loads of times and zombies have seen me from about 1- 2 meters away. As it was nighttime though and you were complety hidden maybe they just saw you as another obstacle.

i don't think so, lately I've had problems with disappearing items to, from guns, tents, ammo and food. I find it happens after logging out soon after acquiring the item in question. In your case the Ghille suit.

I've been in a server once where it got hacked and really i couldn't care less about losing my stuff, after all your likely to run in to an unfriendly player or get eaten by zombies.... i don't see moaning helping the situation in any way... after all its DayZ you live, you die you start again. Thats what so fun about it..

just use the brackets buttons i.e "[ or ]" works the same way as the mouse wheel really allowing you the scroll menu for gear, backbacks, and so on....

nah i ain't ever done that cause i don't go into cities.... and im not so lazy i can't run for 10 mins to get to were i need to go.

Well if people didn't keep spamming the respawn button to get close to a city it would still be there. Even though now all they do is run into a group of zombies and die that way. .

haha alls you have to do is reload it. i don't think melee weapons are in arma so that is the best they can do with it.

There is a glitch at the moment that won't let you open it alot of the time. it always works when opening it after selecting gear from the floor though. A lot of the time it does open though will just look like your inventory.

check the bottom left corner where it says internet click it to LAN then back to internet. also check the filter make sure nothing is written in there.

Kind of your fault really, if i see another player i don't go skipping over to them i tend to watch them for awhile see where there heading and then just go in a separate direction. the fact that you walked up to him itself is just a stupid thing to do.. most players just shoot on sight.

I updated the codes to fix this problem as there is a few new ones out. i do it manually though so i don't know about six launcher.

This is because you are trying to both use the same cd key to play. Its like every character the cd key is unique to them. so if you use the same game without two different cd keys it is practically the same person trying to log onto a server twice... which essentially means one of you gets kicked.. as you can't log in twice. to join the same lobby you need to purchase another arma 2 so that you both have different cd keys for the individual charcters.

there already a walking dead game series go play that =.=

I think new skins would be awesome, but in reply to your question in reality i can't see killing someone changing your appearance so why do it in a realistic survival game?? If you think someones going to shoot you avoid them...

Some packs on the ground are still glitchy which makes it unable for them to be picked up. happens alot with the alice packs.

Update the codes and beta patch. i had this problem but after updating the codes it sorted it out. P.s if you don't know what the codes are they are on the dayzmod.com website click download alpha. top left of the screen.

This is because you are using the same copy of arma 2, you need to have used 2 different cd keys or else it will think you are trying to log onto the server with 2 characters resulting in one getting kicked. I and my brother had this problem but now works fine. After getting a second copy of arma 2 the problem was fixed.

Make sure you have updated to the latest beta patch, also there are new codes out so make sure to update them from this site. I had this problem but after updating the codes it worked fine. Good Luck.

Battle eye failing to update can also be due to your internet connection. As if its slow it will fail to update in time leading to you getting kicked. personally when this happened to me i waited a couple of days and it worked fine.

Well it started when i was running through cherno and i had a horde of zombies chasing me. I was heading for a corner building to shoot them from the top of the stairs but before i make it my character is turned into a cow.... yes a cow. it doesn't end there. Now i'm walking down the street as a cow when suddenly i'm teleported to debug forest with the whole of the server. so now there is the whole server in debug forest all cows and one man in the middle in a guille suit. next minute half of the cows drop dead and i'm then turned into a rabbit as are the last remaining cows so now everyone is hopping around. I finally decided log out just in case i was killed as i hoped there would be a chance to save my character. Luckily i logged into another server and my character was spawned on top of a small roof in cherno which was not even accessible and i jumped off and carried on with my dayz adventure. ~RIP~ Cows that didn't make it.

I like Regular servers... And i may have only been playing for like a month and veteran servers are well not my thing, i play for fun thats all.
