Yeah i had the same problem, i downloaded 2.5 yesterday took about an hour when i could easily download a 2gb game in less than that. -

I got killed by a rock once. I slid down a mountain and got stuck between two instantly taking me to -26600 blood. I then went back to reclaim my gear and i was nearly there when the mountain swallowed my body and my legs break. i then decide to crawl to my body and i reach a rock and it catapulted me a couple of feet... 1 foot to far though as i ended up flying of the cliff edge and dying once again. Was a laugh though even tho i lost my ghille suit and sniper and all my supplies.

i was wondering if it was safe to update to the latest version. Everyone says its the new update which is banning them or are they just looking for something to blame it on?? So is anyone running the newest updates and if so have you had any problems with it??? Thanks.

I'm a friendly and will only shot if someone fires at me first. I do get killed a lot though as most people just shoot on sight so i tend to avoid people as much as possible. Take earlier for example a hacker killed the whole server and i respawn and begin to run towards the city when i come across another survivor also newly spawned after the hacker. He then runs into a building and finds a crowbar and he starts chasing me trying to kill me. Its like i haven't got anything so what would be the point...

My DayZ seems to be ok still. Played for a couple of hours yesterday without any problems but just in case i get banned for no reason i'm going to go to the Winchester and wait for all of this to blow over. -

Nothing will happen battle states that... No one is banned for using non-hack programs (like Fraps, overlays, etc.), picking up or using hacked in-game items, weapons or vehicles, being on a server at the same time as a cheater, or other passive non-cheating activity. Therefore all requests mentioning these things as possible reasons for the global ban are ignored. -
i won't get banned cause i don't hack... so feel free you'll be waiting an eternity though.

It's in alpha what do you expect and rocket can't do anything about the hackers till the game becomes stand alone. Also loads of people moan about hackers but I've encountered one once in like 2 months of playing.. so is it really that much of an issue cause frankly i can't see it. Don't play till it becomes stand alone if your gonna moan about it. -

Sure would be nice if you found a makarov over a revolver, your kidding me right?? revolver 1 shot kill.. makarov 3 shots, i'd stick with the 45. -
