Im packing both a DMR and M14aim right now. From what I can gather, fully zoomed, the DMR is spot on at 400m. Beyond that you have to calculate for bullet drop. Im hitting moving targets with the m14 at least up to 400m anyways. But struggling with the DMR. Its supposed to have an effective range of 800m now but Im hitting my targets alot more accurately with the M14, which I wouldn't expect. How far away should I be expecting a high level of accuracy on the DMR? Any tips from experienced users?

Im doing the same. Although Ive just picked up an M24 and put it in my tent. I think it might be a better alternative. You can zero it from 100m to 800m instead of having to calculate mildots. You can convert 1 dmr mag to 4 m24 clips and vice versa. Im going to try to work on the DMR still, but that M24 is looking tempting.

I can't believe I haven't read anyone making jokes about the debug being bugged.

Its not about wanting it easy. I don't want to be griefed by hackers whilst Im not online to protect myself. The way I see it, when Im offline, im asleep or resting in game. I would rest or sleep near my vehicle. I would see/hear someone trying to steal my vehicle. Someone would die. I can't do that when Im not logged in. There is a difference between something being easy and having to be logged in 24 hours a day 7 days a week to protect my shit from hackers.

Players with AS50TWS' are usually an easy kill. They hack because they are bad at the game. The alternative is they picked it up off a dead body and want to try it because they have never seen one before. Both cases, easy kills.

It will NEVER EVER happen. They will catch some, but there will always be alot of hackers in this game. Im expecting ESP to be the number 1 problem in this game come standalone.

Go through DayZ commander and youll find a bunch of them. Just make sure you untick "hide unofficial". Add some to your favorites and try them. If you are happy with the server stick around and play on it more. Not really sure what else to say.

Its getting close to the point where you will be wasting your money. I mean Rocket has said the standalone will be out by the end of the year. It really depends on you and how much $20 means to you. I personally feel that if I got an hours enjoyment out of the game for $20 then Ive spent my money reasonably. Not everybody would feel the same.

I see vehicles as a major threat to me in the game. They provide high mobility, particularly choppers. They allow you to acquire high end gear at a faster rate. They can get you around the map and into combat quicker. OFC I am going to try to destroy anything that gives other players an advantage over me.

I swair the loot tables have been changed. I used to find them in every second barn I entered. Now they seem to be completely removed from the game. Haven't found or seen one in at least a month.

The bigger problem is probably the hackers who can see them. Its impossible to hide something when there are alot of people who can see everything. Ive hid vehicles pretty much all over the map, they always get found and don't last long. Im sure there is going to be ESP hackers in the standalone too. I really don't think there is a long or short term fix for it beyond saving stuff and taking it offline when your not online. One of the reasons WarZ has me interested is because they have an area where you can save stuff that can't be touched by other players. I want this game to have something similar otherwise its really limiting the reasonable options I have in the game and probably a major reason all I do is PvP these days. EDIT: With battle Eye working on blocking all these scripts I think the likes of ESP and No recoil type hacks, that don't require scripting, will become a larger problem.

What Kajin said. Try different servers. I have a list of favorites I use. Any where I am getting low FPS I remove from the list. If your getting the problem on every server then I don't know, maybe playing around with your settings.

Kamenka is a difficult spawn for new players. Its a really good spawn when you have been playing the game for a while.

Ive found my slow running is directly equal to my FPS on the server.

I will kill anyone I see unless I feel I have to put myself in an overly risky position to do so. The only exceptions are people I play with in Team Speak.

Take the radio. They are in the game legit. Dont take the laser marker, they are not.

Admins do have the facilities available to identify most of the hacks/scripts being used. They can send this information to BattleEye to have the player permanently banned. Unfortunately, most of the admins are too lazy to do so.

So start a clan of your own for under 18s. There are alot of reasons why clans have these rules. I don't really like playing with under 18s myself, with the main reason being that they can't hold an adult conversation about adult things because they just haven't experienced them yet.

As a bandit and with my playstyle I prefer a map which is predominantly jungle with a few high value major cities and military locations. I prefer Lingor to Chernoraus. Most of the firefights are kind of done in the 100m-500m ranges and sniping can be risky. That said, Id rather a map that was also a well known place like New York and its surrounding areas over somewhere like Cherno, which I had never heard of until the game.

Nice guide. Its almost tempting to use this weapon. The TWS is a really good utility aspect of the weapon. Not to mention use of stanag rounds. But its effective range is a bit rough. 300m :/

You sure? Ive been there alot lately and never find anyone there. And I run around like a retard in the military spawns, never get shot. I used to go there and it was full of snipers. Now it seems empty every time im there.
